after a few dodgy meals during lockdown, we decided to give our previously favourite takeaway another go. Oh dear, the chicken in every dish was so dry and hard. Obviously previously cooked and reheated. The sauces as always were great. Such a shame. At these prices, the chicken should be cooked to order, and if it really was, stop 10 minutes before you you actually did.We also used the order online function. So the takeaway was ready when we collected, earlier than suggested. So a bit cold, didn't dare heat up as the chicken was so tough.
Best curry in the area. Smells delicious as soon as you open the door, which is always a good sign. Staff are lovely and we had a fantastic meal here.Food: 5/5
I have finally found my local Indian restaurant and very near by to where I am. The food is tasty, full of flavours. The dishes can be a bit spicy but you can rest it to be mild. The staff are nice and the restaurant is nice and trendy and clean too. The staff doesn't pester you whilst you are eating which is good. The price is reasonable.
Poor experience initially with mixed up take out order, but decided to give them another try. Ordered lamb - instead of a rich saucy dish it turned out to be an incredibly dry tasteless chicken tikka. The pillau wasn't what I expected - rice was dry and chewy - either undercooked or days old. Nothing looked or tasted fresh.
Great to have this place in the local neighbourhood. Really good food. Has some interesting stuff on the menu beyond the usual British Indian restaurant. Would recommend the xacuti, dal and roti.
Absolutely disgusting customer service. I placed an order on Uber Eats, the restaurant called me to confirm my address which I confirmed, he then went on to tell me I have to come down to get the food when it arrives and they will not come up. I told him I have a newborn baby in the flat so I can't and he advised me he would have to cancel my order. Absolutely disgusting.
Went on the off chance they have a table usually get take away staff are lovely food was yummy and place was nice and clean ,really great place for a curry definitely recommendFood: 5/5

I've used this place for years but I think they have new owners, or completely new staff, and it's lost something in the transition.Food: 3/5
