Always a treat. Charming friendly staff. 
Basic but very reasonable food with a varied choice, generous portions at a fair price. Always popular with locals.
No hesitation in recommending it

Busy little place which is managed by two young brothers who are extremely pleasant and accommodating. Their roasts are generally nice (lamb, beef and chicken) but becoming rather mean with their meat portions. Their Yorkshire puddings are the smallest Yorkshire puds I have ever seen anywhere. 
Three stars because of the portions but I still recommend them.
