A must for first class food when in this beautiful area. Fish caught on the day with home made tartare sauce was a delight. Another evening Mushroom Soup with hot bread followed by Cheesy Chips. Very friendly and welcoming and a log fire to keep you warm. Music and singing twice a week, a really good atmosphere.Service: 5/5
The location and pub itself was outstanding. Cadgwith is a really stunning village. However, we ordered the chicken burgers for our kids and one for me. These were SERIOUSLY overpriced for what we got. Basically we got a Brioche bun, with 2 lettuce leaves, some mayo and 2 chicken goujons on it. Really not the quality you expect for £8.
What oh wonderful overnight getaway on a January wintry evening. Super evening stroll along the Coast path via the devils frying pan and over towards church Cove. And back along to the Cadgewith Inn for wonderful evening meal, chats by the fire and an early night! Wonderful sunrise in the morning and a quick stroll out to the Todden point and back again for breakfast rounded up a super quick getaway is an overnight stay. Fantastic breakfast by the way and super reasonable too. I just love a quiet villages in the winter time.
Had lunch and a few meals here over NY 2022/23. Food was excellent and staff very attentive and friendly. One of the highlights was the Monk fish curry with King Prawns 5* We will return!
Fantastic place for a midweek break. Great food, friendly atmosphere and really enjoyed Tuesday folk night. Will definitely be backRooms: 5/5
Really lovely Inn, great staff great atmosphere. Good clean rooms shared huge bathroom. Sadly, we arrived and left in the dark, so there were no day photos. There is no signal but WiFi. Car park is at the top of the hill with the most wonderful little footpath down past old fisherman's cottages and a field of grey geese, yes geese, to the beach where the Inn nestles surrounded by fishing boats. The Inn is very popular, so book months in advance if you can. Traditional cornish village. I'll be back.
Had a wonderful 2 night stay here, beautiful location good to be able to be around more traditional Cornwall, staff were lovely and food was amazing...will be going back for sure.Rooms: 4/5
Really cosy, quirky, fishing village pub with pictures of villagers past and the shipwrecks they attended all over the walls. The crab patê was delicious, the beef stroganoff rich & meaty and the fish & chips beautifully cooked. There are no cars in the village, but the pub and setting of thatched cottages are well worth a hike.
A lovely place, but £6 for a hot chocolate, we are not in London. Over priced tourist trap.Location: 5/5
Fantastic pub/ restaurant in the heart of the village. Food was fantastic every night we ate there. Was very clean. Service was great. Only down side would be the lack of vegetables served and the children's menu. They like simple food and their palette has not grown to seafood just yet. A couple of sausages on the menu would help.
