Spectacular views from one of the tallest points of the city for free of charge. There's a catch though: you need climb a relatively steep hill and a couple of steps before getting access to these amazing views, but in my opinion, all the efforts are well-worth it. I did not regret and would go back any other time without hesitation.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Cool little place to visit while in Bristol. Panoramic views of the city for free. If visiting do wrap up warm as it’s windy at the top and make sure you have a light as near sunset the stairs can get very dark as there is no light inside. People do pass on the spiral stairs so can be a challenge getting up. It is 100% worth the effort to go to!
Amazing view over all of Bristol! Surrounded by gorgeous garden ponds and thin little stone walkways leading up to the tower. You can walk up the tower for free, and I would definitely recommend going at sunset because the view is just spectacular. A very tight helix staircase to the top, but the view is worth it. There are 2 levels you can get out at, so you don't have to go to the top. Between the lower level and the upper level the staircase is even smaller, but the view is much better.
A small tower that you can climb free of charge to have a great panaromic view of Bristol. Mind your step as there are no guards so there might be instances where you will bump into someone midway climbing up to the tower. Fantastic view at the top for photography and chill breeze to enjoy in autumn, absolutely recommend this place.
Beautiful panoramic view of the city after a tough climb. Quite windy as well, but that’s expected. The second set of stairs right to the top are a bit more narrow and steep than the first set. Definitely take your time when coming down because the steps aren’t quite big enough for everyone’s feet. Also in a nice park! Very well lit at the top. If space allowed, it would be handy to have a bench or two at the top. Also the staircase wasn’t lit even motion sensor lighting would do! so it felt a bit more daunting after sunset even though it was only 5pm. Didn’t see any toilets.
Free viewing spot that gives you an excellent view over all of Bristol. It's in Brandon Hill, it's on a steepish hill but it's manageable for most folks. The steps are quite narrow, the first phase is a little wider than a single peron, and is dark until you reach the halfway point where there are a couple viewing spots. Then there's another flight of stairs that are single person only. When you reach the top you are rewarded with an excellent 360° view of Bristol. It can get very windy at the top so be careful. Recommended if you're in the area, the park itself is also nice for a stroll.
Great place to visit as long as you're not too wide of a person, and don't mind tight spaces. Lots of very very narrow stairs to the top, can be hard to pass people coming the other way if it's busy. Well worth visiting for the great view on a clear day, very much recommended.
Panoramic views of Bristol can be had for free, once you’ve tackled the steps up. The spiral staircase has 108 steps to reach the top viewing platform and it is very narrow and steep. Worth it.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
After I had a tough climb up the Brandon Hill I discovered that Cabot Tower was closed. The views from there are great as you can get clear views over the city on a great day. It was great walking through Brandon Hill.
An awsome place to visit. The tower entrance is free. You can have the view of entire city. An amazing view from top. The closure time varies based on tume of the year. Also may closed on public holidays. The climb to the top is steep and narrow steps.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
