First time my husband and I have used this garage. MOT and service carried out within a day. The owner, Marie, her sister and the other 2 garage staff that we had contact with were helpful and very friendly. We were very happy with the pricing too - we paid less than we paid one of the big MOT /Servicing chains last year. Without a doubt, we will continue to use Byres Rd Garage and have / will recommend it to friends and family.
Needed some emergency work doing to my car's rear brakes whilst on a visit to Glasgow. They were extremely helpful and fitted me into their schedule the following day. Very friendly and efficient, clearly explained what was required and had the work done in a couple of hours. Everything that a local garage should be, highly recommended.
I took my old car here three years in a row for its servicing and mot. Very friendly folk and I always felt they were genuinely doing the best they could for me. Car always came back fine. Will definitely be back with the new car which is due its servicing soon.
I added oil, I added too much, I work next to a garage I've never been. I went in to ask if I could drain the excess oil, they told me they were busy but would try to do something. After 5 minutes the excess oil was drained. I asked how much I pay, they said with a smile on their face it's ok, don't worry about it... Big Thank you guys for fixed my car and your kindness!!!
Definitely avoid their service! They are amazing when you book MOT but awful when you do the retest. Very dishonest. They told me that my local garage did not do the repairs properly. I went back to the garage and he rechecked everything and told me it was fine. I wanted to make sure who was the honest between them. I drove to a different MOT centre and the car passed the MOT. Very rude as well, they did not provide a report about the defects in the car when doing the retest. Summarising the situation with " whatever you done to the car was not done properly" They pretended that they had the paper but lost it. Blamed me for not providing the MOT from last time I visited their garage.
Exceptional service everytime. Lovely and friendly staff. Never felt short changed always an honest opinion and they strive to get you on the road as quickly as possible. Top top quality garage. Look no further for MoT or car repair needs.
Amazing garage, really friendly people. I don’t trust many garages but always feel like my car is in safe hands here with honest people willing to give advice. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. They go above and beyond to help.
Byers Road Garage were first class in sorting out a battery charging issue which had arisen on my daughters car. The issue was addressed immediately and a full refund from the supplier of the battery was obtained by Marie at the garage. First class customer service, thanks Marie.
Great experience for my routine service and MOT. They also fitted me in recently at short notice to reattach the engine stone guard to my car which had partially detached and was dragging along the road. Very friendly and knowledgeable garage. Reasonably priced. Will definitely use again as my regular garage.
The team at Byres Road Garage were able to quickly and efficiently find the cause of a vibration noise from my car and advise the repair. Staff were friendly and pleasant. I'll defiantly be back in future!
