Friendly and helpful staff. Saved our holiday as we were stopping at Glasgow on our way up to the Highlands. Managed to take us at very short notice on a busy Saturday and got the car fixed same day ABS issues. Reasonable priced too!
Great garage! Booked me in for following morning for quick turn around MOT. Great price for great quality. 2 years in a row now and will back next year again.
Took my car to their garage to get parking sensors fixed. They told me I needed the battery fixed costing about £200. Paid for work to be completed. Started to have multiple problems with the battery, constantly had to jump start the car. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it, they then booked me into Mercedes official garage I had to pay for a diagnostic + new battery at a cost of £400. Turns out best fit service put the wrong type of battery into my car, they claim Mercedes sent them the wrong battery. No refund given, was just told go to Mercedes for a refund as they’ve damaged the battery. Despite best fit service being the ones who installed the wrong battery into my car initiating the problem. I’ve now had to pay an extra £400 to have this issue resolved.
Had new tyres fitted on my car here a year ago, they were quick and professional and I had a nice chat. A year later, I needed the invoice for a claim with the council and I got it in less than a minute and they were just as prompt and nice!
After 2 attempts at sorting the shuddering issue with my F-Pace at other garages, I took it to Best Fit with little expectation of getting the issue fixed without much hassle and cost. However, the guys were very professional and honest, and quickly diagnosed the problem, before sorting it for a very reasonable price. Will 100% use them again confident that I’ll get the same level of expertise and service.
There was an issue with my tyre losing air fast. Multiple garages suggested having the valve changed, sensor checked, the wheel cleaned and refurbed but they didn't fix the issue. I tried Best Fit and they instantly found that there was a previous puncture that was string repaired. They gave honest advice and I ended up getting a new tyre. Wish I visited them sooner to save me time and money! They also kindly checked my engine light without me asking and advised of the issue. Amazing service and friendly.
Had cause to visit on 2 x separate occasions & received first class service both times. The first was due to 2x burst tyres after hitting a major pothole in Eglinton Street . Best Fit did not make a drama out of a potential crisis. They replaced both tyres immediately to allow us to continue on home. The second time was to fix a slow puncture. They identified the source of the problem & sorted without any fuss . Very helpful.
Booked in advance just to find out on the day of the booking that they don't have the tyre required for my car. Been told 4pm in the afternoon. Wasted my time, will not be returning.
Our car developed an engine issue on the way to Glasgow. AA came out, charged a fortune and couldn't help. We kept going on limited power and had a diagnostic test at Halfords. The issue was to do with the turbo and after speaking to numerous garages, they all either said they wouldn't touch a turbo issue or they couldn't look at it for a week or two. We have 3 babies/toddlers and couldn't get home drive + ferry without our car. Best Fit were the only ones willing to look at it quickly due to our circumstances. They looked at it the following day, unblocked one pipe and repaired another. It will require more work to fix properly but they only charged us £50 and we were so grateful that they managed to fit us in and do some repairs. Would highly recommend them.
Great service, helpful and friendly staff and very quick turnaround. My partner car wasn't starting, he called several Ford garages in Glasgow and was told the first appointment was after 7 days. Phoned Best Fit, and the car was sorted very quickly. Definitely recommend.
