Service Good. Drinks good. Food was Wetherspoons standard - although we both went for steak and prawns. Other than the steaks everything else was deep friend. Sauce was good, but overall disappointed. Wish we’d tried the Thai food now but not sure we’ll be back to give it a go. Husbands Apple crumble was nice but my ‘sultana sponge’ was a raisin biscuit. It was awful. Didn’t raise with staff as they looked petrified and we would have had to shout across the room. Would have been nice for staff to ask how the food was. Lovely peaceful setting though
What a beautiful place to stay rooms immaculate lovely cosy bed. Food is gorgeous top notch. Dave and Stephen were the perfect hosts friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely be returning

Food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food & drinks: Excellent food, good choice and variety on the menu mixture of Thai and English food and very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Been twice now. The barstaff shouted hello when we arrived, nice table and food and service was very good. Thai and English food both fabulous will definitely be there again.Rooms: 5/5

Cannot dispute the quality of the food, it is delicious, when you finally get it! Waited 1hr & 40 mins tonight! Meals turned up 1 at a time! And one didn’t even show up until 3 of us had finished eating! Totally unacceptable. Same thing happened on Mother’s Day and other times in the past. I’m out of patience for this establishment and certainly would never recommend.
