Stayed at Buxton Hilbre for three nights and I enjoyed the experience. The stay was excellent. 
The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, comfortable and had a good view of the Country Park woods,
The breakfast was excellent (I had a vegetarian breakfast so I can specially vouch for the vegetarians) and delicious.
The owners were very friendly and helpful in all matters.

- stayed again the other week in the cold and snowy weather but very warm and welcoming, good food and great advice about where to go and what to do to keep entertained

- visited again and still great... easy and relaxed very helpful

- we also had a fab time here - stayed in the family room which had all we needed for the us and the kids and for once lots of space rather than being stuffed in. This a family run B and B and so you get the personal touch - you are not one of the crowd but rather just staying in their family home!

Was thoroughly well looked after, at a friendly and helpful B&B.  Real hospitality, a comfortable bed and excellent breakfast! They even fixed my bike for me, what more can you ask.
