I'd consider it to be more of a B&B than a hotel. It's quaint and clean. The evening meal was delicious as was the breakfast. The service was excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu is slightly limited and the bar doesn't have any draught ales or lagers. All in all a very pleasant one night stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it really suited us as it was relaxed ajd very dog friendly. The breakfast each morning was define served in their lovely conservatory. Well worth the money.

We had a lovely weekend. Reasonable priced on groupon with an evening meal on the first night. The rooms are comfortable albeit a little tired. Staff are friendly. Will definitely be returning.

my wife and i recently spent a very pleasant night at the alison park. our room was comfortable and very clean and the evening meal and breakfast were excellent. the staff were very attentive and efficient.on the down side, the shower was hand held over the bath and the surrounding gardens looked in need of some attention.
