Established in 2002 The Bureau is situated in Whiteabbey, a little village beside Belfast Lough, just 6 miles from Belfast

Story

Bureau Cafe Bar on the ground floor is open all day-every day for drinks, entertainment, coffee and freshly prepared seafood & grill dishes. Its large Beer Garden has uninterrupted views across Belfast Lough and in good weather is perfect for drinks & dining. Discover NI recommends it among the best Beer Gardens in Northern Ireland.

In 2012 the team were extremely proud to win 'Best Northern Ireland Food Pub', runner-up 'Best Overall Pub' and joint runner-up 'Most Innovative Pub' in the prestigious Pubs of Ulster Awards, and also 'Best Food Venue' in the Newtownabbey Business Awards. In 2006, the restaurant was named ‘Best in Northern Ireland’ by the famous Grub Club.

This place has soòoo much potential. It is let down by the staff I think. I've come away the past few times feeling like it must be experiencing massive rates vs low cost staff to keep afloat or something balance-sheety like this. Sorry to say but from now on I'd rather give my cash to Sozo or go into town. I really want them to do well but it feels like a massive mis-use of space and customer experience not exaggerated enough in my opinion.

Really bad we been yesterday and owner whos a women wasnt nice disrespect people and by the law she couldnt weare her own clothes she maint to be dressed as a staff if shes serving tables and she had tea towel on her shoulder been wipe tables and running for food who can spread deaseses on food never ever gona back in that place,the only good word to say only a view nothing else apart that just mental place,they just disrespect people

I have been for a meal quite a few times and was always pleased with the food and service. Was there on Sunday and was dissapointed with both the quality of the food and the service. It has definately went down hill recently. Unfortunate.
