Popped in for a lunch time snack. Waited 20 mins for a coffee. A further 20 mins for our Hunters chicken rolls. The place was quiet. The rolls should have come with a salad garnish - nothing - just the roll in the middle of a big plate. Very average taste but covered in bbq sauce to mask any other flavours.nShan’t make the mistake of popping in the Bumble Bee for a snack again !
We met up with family here as they travelled up north. It was a good half way stop. The food was really lovely and such value for money. The staff were lovely and friendly. I think it was unexpectedly busy because the food service was a little slow but not enough for it to hinder our visit. There’s not much separation between the bar tables and restaurant tables but again, as it was mid-week it didn’t really impact us. I’d highly recommend.
Recently moved to the area and this is our new local. Love the midweek food deals - excellent value for money! Staff are lovely as well, we’ll definitely be frequenting here a lot.
I hosted a party here of around 40+ people. A great place to catch up. Food and drink good value. Fern the Manager was brilliant, she dedicated an area for us and even said we could come in early to decorate. Staff very friendly and attentive.
Staff are fantastic! Especially impressed with who I assume was the manager dealing with a few younger rascals, very fair throughout. Food is good pub grub for the price.
