Argyle on tour !! On Tuesday night. A 5hr pleasant trip by train to the lovely town of Shrewsbury and our first pub before the match. Just 2 minutes away from the Premier Inn where I am staying....Nice ale, friendly atmosphere and staff with a smart decor....wish we could have stayed, but it's 3 or 4 miles to the ground....
Historical Building, Needs Some Music, Not Sky Sports, or Every Day TV Shows. I Go Out to the Pub to Avoid These. Best Wishes With Your Pub. Could be Popular With Tourists. Good Location.
Very nice pub near the train station. Food and Rum were both excellent.

We stopped by here for a drink whilst waiting to catch a train home. Lovely little boozer with fantastic decor and good prices drinks. Friendly service and great location

Great pub! The landlord is super friendly and very cute!
Really nice, welcoming warm pub with at our time of visiting plenty of comfy seats to use. Not too quiet, nor busy and service was excellent. Most importantly, was the pleasant surprise of the price of drinks not expensive by any means of comparison. Very comfy, and could happily have stayed longer, if it wasn't for us having to get the last train home. Will definitely visit again, only next time we'll pop in earlier instead of at the end of of our day.
Great range of drinks, nice place
Had lunch here and although food was good, it was a shame that although the menu was small there were several unavailable because they didn't have certain ingredients! Limited drink availability as well and who only serves diet coke on tap and not the standard type as well
