Bulls Head

We pop in 6 or 7 times a year. Always feel welcomed. Drink range is great. Food average but good value We only live 2 miles down the road but it's too far for a walk. Thankfully the car park is big!

Good food with good week day deals. Nice beer garden in front and rear of pub however visited on Saturday evening and discovered that they were barely serving food, was a 20 min wait because it was full, however there must have only been about 4 groups in at the time then they weren't allowing food outside past 5pm. Had good visits previously however this one was disappointing, stayed for one drink and went elsewhere.

Nice bit of lamb in roast, seems to have improved recently from the days of barmaids moaning about pulling pints of bitter because of froth. Has differing ales on and I recently had the opportunity here to try storm brewing of Macclesfield's to whom i know to be "nice people" offering to real ale to which i found very tasty. Sadly there's one to many tossers knocking about here for my liking to change my stars.

Great little pub, good value for money and friendly staff. Great portion size and good food, although i question the 'triple cooked' chips. Once cooked from frozen maybe

Wagu burger good as usual but chips were awful, just like all the last scraps and rejects. Very disappointed, usually very good. Mentioned it to staff member when asked if all was o.k. and his reply was what's wrong with those. Will give it a miss for a while.
