Best fish we have had at a chippy! Staff was friendly and amazing. Couldn't finish all of our curry sauce but it was so good we wanted to take it home. Owner made us some fresh chips to take home on the house x Was so lovely and will absolutely go again.
Used to go to this chippy years ago and the fish were fantastic and very very tasty Moved to the area 9 months ago and thought to myself at least it’s got a good chippy so we have used it on about 9 occasions and on every occasion I thought it’s got to get better but unfortunately not may not be the same owners as it was 3-4 years ago? Staff very friendly but Food very bland and very overpriced and very small portions apart from the chips. Just my opinion

We have bought food from The Big Fish for several years. The freshness and quality is second to none. In my opinion having travelled a lot in the UK, I haven't sampled fish and chips that remotely compare to The Big Fish, they are the absolute best.

We always get our fish and chips from you this is the first time I ordered on line and as usual the food was delicious
If you thought this place was good before, you've seen nothing yet! This is the best fish and chip shop in the North West, no question. We've tried our fair share of proper chippies across the county and we've never been as impressed as we were here. The chips are clean, cooked perfectly, the fish is the whitest you've seen, again incredibly clean, chunky and delicious, and the service is impeccable by a superb bunch of people that deserve all the praise. If you want 11/10 quality fish and chips, there's no other place but The Big Fish.
Always go here but have to say on a little bit disappointed for my daughter as shes veggie. They cooked chips in the same fryer they cooked the fish in and her chips were full of batter I hope that this was a one off as it's totally put her off them
