Just a few from Nov 2022 Comic Con

Been here quite a few times now for Comic Cons and recently For the love of Wrestling. The staff do a fantastic job, there are plenty if you need to ask something and they were all friendly with my children. Plenty of toilets and are clean too. Reason for 4 stars are drink prices are a bit expensive e.g. bottle of pepsi max is £2.50 however you can take your own drinks and food in there so not the end of the world.

I was at a conference with over 600 delegates and the organisation was second to none. From the luggage drop off to using the WiFi to leaving at the end of the day, everything went with military precision. The venue is on the banks of the Mersey with stunning views across the river and close to the Albert Docks with all the attractions and hotels. Highly recommended.

Good views from every seat except mine but that was mainly due to the size of the head in front of me. Seats were a bit too firm and uncomfortable.

Truly awful organisation for the screening of the CL final. It was utter chaos outside with people waiting ridiculous lengths of time to get in. By the time we got near the front there was hardly any time before kickoff. The security checks and ticket checks fell by the way side. Worst point was when after queuing for ages they opened up another lane and let a huge swath of people go straight to the front past the rest of us. Very poor. Venue itself seemed ok. Couldn't get to the bar but judging by the prices i was probably lucky.

Good venue. Went to see Noel Gallagher here.

Confused how a old train station in Manchester make for a better convention centre then a one built just for that. Been too 3 events in the centre and all 3 was a let down. Sad to say but I think I will stick with manchester
