Ordered 3 items 2 came out okay but low quality food for price. Nachos came and didn't have any noticeable cheese sauce on asked for more to be given a drizzle of watered down cheese sauce. Asked for refund to be told no. Would not recommend. Rip off. Picture is with extra cheese sauce edit why didn't you think to offer us normal cheese when we asked for more cheese? Surely that's your job instead of being rude Edit Please see second picture of an £8 bowl of nachos with cheese on
Good pub lovely beer and great place in the sun but service can be slow and never seem to have enough bar staff. Food is ok for the price.Food: 4/5
Attend with family. Very disappointing. Had Sunday roast if that's what you can call it. Beef was crispy, and dry vegetables were hard and inedible. Service was none excited nobody came to check how meal was just came to clear plates while we're leaving. Not what we wanted when celebrating a birthday. Would not recommend.Food: 1/5
A beautiful place for evening meals and a beer or 2 close to local walks and great dog friendly place Food: 5/5
The bar staff were very friendly and efficient. I am looking forward to the food. I am going to order the Grilled Fillets of Sea Bass fairly soon. I hope it is going to be nice and tasty. Keep up the good work.Food: 5/5
We come here at least once a month to hang out with another couple and the experience is always nice. Ellie looked after us today and she was super friendly and attentive to our needs. I will continue to come here and bring others with me. Parking: Great parking and never been a problem.
I waited 45 minutes for my food and received it after the rest of my party finished eating. One of the guests at our party ordered his food 20 minutes after me and still got his before I did. I don’t recommend ordering on the app at your table. The fish and chips were good but it’s not worth the wait.Food: 3/5
My Wife and I had our wedding reception here in the upstairs function room which has the main area and a quiet part where the separate bar is. All the staff were brilliant and went out of their way to make our special day amazing. The food for the 'wedding breakfast' was fantastic as was the evening buffet. On a side note there is a Premier Inn next door which is very convenient for guests coming to a special event from afar.
Have been going here for 4 years when we stay in the hotel next door . Tonight, we had 4 meals - asked for replacements for the 2 inedible “medium” bloody, chewy sirloin steaks - apparently one had more than 2 bites out of it , so couldn’t be replaced- went elsewhere for food and the rest of the evening. Other bar staff were lovely, but shift supervisor was rude and unhelpful, we took our custom elsewhere.. very disappointing , such a shame
Been here for training days a few times now. Food has always been great, and it has a lovely outdoor area too. The team are friendly and it's a great place to sit and have a pint when it's sunny. Would recommend
