The best RnB and Hip hop bar in Liverpool. We've been going here regularly for 10 years now, and the DJ's always get the crowd dancing till late. Lots of Old school RnB which attracts a crowd which just wants to have a great time. Always feel safe and the drinks are great too. This place will go down in our history book for sure.
I loved the place, nice drinks and good price, i loved the music, makes me feel like the 2000s. A great atmosphere, drinks and sit to chill, the dj is very good. A must go, recommended
If you like hip hop or RnB this really is your place. I had an incredible night here last week, and I think we stayed for 6 hours! I would give 5 stars however the ladies’ toilets had no hand soap the whole evening no female staff seen, but surely a man could replace the soaps. The other qualm I have is that the DJ didn’t play any Kendrick.. the whole night… which broke our hearts a little bit #kungfukenny Overall I still love this place and recommend to any hip hop fans
We booked a cocktail masterclass here and it was amazing! So attentive and fun staff. We did our class with Leonard I hope I got your name right , he was great with the whole group. Really good variation of cocktails to try. Highly recommend! Fantastic service! Thank you so much.
Can't describe how disgusted I was at some supervisors just sat ordering bar staff about. The bar staff are fantastic they work so hard. I would not accept being spoken to like dirt by some jumped up girl who is clearly the managers favorite for 1 reason or another, mmmm I can guess the reason!!!! The big bosses clearly need to look into what's going on. I don't work there and I was fuming. I would avoid this barat all costs
Waited a while in the line, i gave the doorman my iD, he asks for my student iD. I didn't realise it was student ONLY night. Perhaps the event promoter should state that. The music line upseemed good, I was a out of towner only here for 1 evening. Can't think whats any other reason apart from he didnt like my face going to the club and profiled me as not suitable to be part of the crowd inside, because he never asked anybody in front of me for student iD, and many people using the Verify Age app but not student status. Avoid your disappointment and don't waste your time with this club, if its going to have gatekeepers who are going to be unfairly selective about who goes in and who doesn't!
Door staff need updating on health and safety policies and discrimination. Is it right to turn away someone who has a feeding tube giving the reason it was too busy for them to call an ambulance, she has never had to call an ambulance for her condition ever so how can they make that decision. Reading the other reviews it looks like you need new door staff!
Decent cocktails and a very lengthy happy hour which is always a bonus. Good value and nice drinks, with the Brooklyn name I was hoping for more bourbon/rye options on the menu and the decor/music was in no way a reflection of Brooklyn style, but who cares, it had some tunes on and the drinks were tasty and very reasonable!
I'll start with saying that I love Brooklyn Mixer and come here whenever I am out, but what I witnessed on Friday night made me question if it is a place I want to be spending my time in. When I was waiting in a queue to go in one of the bouncers tall, big one was talking to a group of 3 guys and it clearly looked like they offering him money. He initially refused I think because he realised he was being watched, however I saw the guys putting the money in his pocket and I am sure he kept it. In the meantime one of those 3 guys was searched by another bouncer and I overhead the bouncer saying he can't let him in because he had drugs on him and after short conversations the guy walked away again maybe only because I was watching them. What is disturbing for me is that later on I saw the guy that supposedly​ had drugs on him inside the club, which made me wonder if that is what the bouncer took the money for? Like I said at the beginning, I love this place but probably won't be coming back anytime soon.
Shocking staff and service. Excellent idea, great setup but a giant con and a rip off. Paid for 2 tables for 80 mins when pissed. No warning given once 80 mins was up just a fat load of charges at the end. Staff are awful - barmaid in particular if you hate your life/job/customers then change. That attitude will kill you. No terms and conditions on display, no table of charges, staff unwilling or unable to understand charging policy, no data protection policy available, no compliance notices on display. I would not trust these clowns with copies of your id at all
