Was great. Used to charge per day now by the hour! Top of Lyme so some steep hills to and from the beach. Prepare for a bit of exercise especially getting back up the hill. There's no easy path back brought the park offers the best route.
Nice car park in Lyme Regis - only £1.50 for 2 hours in winter. Easy downhill walk to the harbour and beach to explore the Jurassic Coast. Or you can walk along the coastal path which is along the cliff top towards Seaton. Lots of spaces being low season.
£2 all day parking and only 5mins to beach front, with stunning views on the walk down. walk back is hard but plenty of benches to take a breather.
None of the 3 machines were accepting cash . Luckily I had a phone,felt sorry for the many people who didnt have there phones,people were raged,what was ment to be a relaxing day at the beach turned out to be stressful as to whether u were going to get a parking ticket . unacceptable .
Good location for lyme Regis Town and beach. Only £6 fpr 24hrs. Safe, we left our car for 4 days and no issues.
Great if you have a motorhome need a place to stop, short walk in to town down hill, need good legs and less beer for walk back up, only 4 motor bays, got away with parking in others, about 8 quid for 12 hours over night, toilet block on site bins to off load rubbis, very good stop off point
This carpark has motorbike parking bay which is free to park. Not the easiest carpark to get out of on two wheels. Carpark is fine for parking cars, motorhomes and has coach parking. Has toilets there but aren't the nicest but clean enough when I went.
There's plenty of space if you're early in the height of summer as it does get busy, if you don't like climbing don't go here as it's easy going into Lyme Regis but a bind getting back to the car.
Reasonable walk into town or to beaches. Summer charge £5 for 4 hours, but then jumps to £10 for all day! We got there at 9.30, so had to hurry lunch to get back in time. As it's a long stay where are 5 or 6 hour charges?
Great big steep hill to the sea. Really cheap though 2 pounds for 24 hours in the summer holidays which can't grumble. Really nice friendly cafe with nice coffee and full paper cups.
