I recently visited the Bristol Museum and was thoroughly impressed by the variety of exhibits on display. The museum offers a rich blend of educational and entertaining experiences, making it a perfect destination for families and children. I particularly appreciated the diverse representation of both Eastern and Western cultures, which provided a fascinating insight into different traditions and histories. The interactive displays kept the little ones engaged, and there were plenty of informative sections for adults as well. Overall, a wonderful place to explore and learn for all ages!
An interesting natural history and art gallery combined. I enjoyed looking round though I thought the modern art was awful and a waste of space. There were some beautiful paintings as well. I particularly liked the exhibits of animals from all over the world.
Bristol Museum & Art Gallery offers diverse exhibits across three floors. The ground floor features Egyptian mummies, South West wildlife, and an exhibition gallery. On the first floor, visitors can see Alfred the Gorilla, a Romany wagon, and displays on dinosaurs, rocks, and wildlife. The second floor showcases art galleries with paintings, pottery, glass, and other crafts.
Had a lovely time exploring this museum. it is free entry and has plenty to look at, aswell as a cafe and little shop. would definitely recommend when visiting the city
Decent size musuem, the art is amazing and the animal section was decent, although my favourite was the Egyptian section.nThe layout is sporadic random rooms off-shooting everwhere however this makes it more fun as it feels like your exploring.nThe only negative point is the kids, no fault of the musuem but people need to controll their kids in a art musuem, or the musuem needs to enforce responsible parenting alot more as it ruined some of the exhibits.nI cannot believe the musuem is also free to enter, I've payed to enter worse musuems than this , I'd happily pay a few quid to enter.nThe building is beatiful aswell.nThe tac shop could be alot better, they didn't seem to sell any art paintings prints etc witch was a shame.nWould defiantly recommend and will return.
