I recently visited the Bristol Museum and was thoroughly impressed by the variety of exhibits on display. The museum offers a rich blend of educational and entertaining experiences, making it a perfect destination for families and children. I particularly appreciated the diverse representation of both Eastern and Western cultures, which provided a fascinating insight into different traditions and histories. The interactive displays kept the little ones engaged, and there were plenty of informative sections for adults as well. Overall, a wonderful place to explore and learn for all ages!
Brilliant visit, interesting exhibits throughout.nArchaeology, paleontology, art, natural history sections fascinating stuff.nCafe in site and plenty of local eateries to choose from.nInteresting building and entrance lobby.nLoved the visit. Totally recommended for people of all ages.
The museum is free and it is a very enjoyable few hours exploring the exhibits.nnWe paid for the Constable exhibition which was £12 each, but they had a BOGOF offer which was great.nnWe stopped for a drink in the cafe and they have some comfortable seating with tables.
We called in at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.nOur first stop was to get a drink from the cafe. The seating was in a large central space and was quite relaxing.nWe bought our tickets for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition online, but the QR codes we had been sent didn’t work, so we had to find the desk in the foyer to get actual tickets.nOnce inside, the exhibition was breathtaking.
This is a lovely museum with all kinds of stuff! Perfect for a rainy day! The lockers do fill up fast so keep that in mind but the staff is all super helpful and friendly! 100/10 would go again!
