Good permanent collection, quite varied. I appreciated the watercolours that feel quite rare in museums. The art is presented in such way that walking around the room feels like travelling through the years. Some explanations of details or techniques in the paintings send you back to previous ones. There are catalogues depicting the art which are very educational. I didn't like the temporary exhibition (entertainment in Bath) as much but it was still instructive.

A really interesting place to visit and worth exploring even for a quick visit. Nice staff also, most of whom are volunteers.

The beautiful art museum with great exterior and interior. Very quiet and cosy place where you can easily spend an hour without noticing. The collection includes paintings, sculptures, glassware and other decorative artistic objects. The main gallery is free of charge but you have to pay to enter temporary exhibition.

A quaint and well endowed art gallery. Well worth a visit but not as the sole point of interest for a day out. The staff are very knowledgeable of the art works and friendly.

The history of photography exhibition was phenomenally touching. The Gallery was free to enter and upstairs there are public toilets and hot tea and coffee facilities. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Thank You!
