Bristol Aquarium - The Wonders of the Deep Await

Story

BRISTOL'S BIGGEST AQUARIUM ::
Bristol Aquarium invites you to discover the wonders of the deep in the heart of the city.

More than 40 naturally-themed displays are home to thousands of amazing aquatic creatures including tropical sharks, rays, seahorses, piranhas and so much more.

UK EXCLUSIVE ::
We’re also the only aquarium in the UK to feature a giant botanical house showcasing hundreds of exotic plant and tree species from around the world.

THEMED ZONES ::
Eight themed zones take you on a fascinating journey from the British coastline through warmer waters to exotic tropical seas.

From the hidden world of UK coasts, you are transported to the beautiful ‘underwater gardens’ of the Mediterranean, tropical rainforests, mangrove pools and the stunning beauty of coral reefs - home to everything from seahorses and puffer fish to living corals and tropical sharks.

WALKTHROUGH UNDERWATER TUNNEL ::
You can enjoy the closest of undersea encounters in an underwater walk-through tunnel through the reef, from inside a glass cavern and via bubble-helmet viewing points.

FIND DORY & NEMO! ::
More than 40 other naturally-themed displays reveal the sheer variety of life in the deep from giant crabs and lobsters to the amazing octopus and jellyfish. Plus you can find Nemo, Dory and their friends!

GIANT OPEN TOP OCEAN DISPLAYS ::
You can enter a life-size recreation of a sunken ship, step inside a seahorse display and walk across a wooden footbridge suspended above the open-top giant Coral Seas display.

GREAT VALUE

Amazing day out. Wheelchair and pushchair friendly in all parts. If you retain your ticket, you can go around as many times as you want. The animals are really well cared for, and the exhibits were brilliant. My son is autistic and absolutely LOVED it here. Toilets and cafe on sight
Worth a visit. It's not massive, so you'd probably only need a couple of hours. Some very nice displays. There is a place to eat there, but it's very expensive for what it is.
Possibly my favourite aquarium that I've been to. Loved the sunken ship and dockyard theme with its decor as it really added to the experience. Being able to return and go round again later in the day was great as we could pop out for lunch and come back for an even more relaxing stroll round in the afternoon.nCouldn't quite see the octopus so there is a reason to come back some time!
A great place to visit whilst in Bristol! We arrived first thing, before there was any crows so was able to spend time at each of the tanks and displays. Plenty to see and enjoy, including the talks which were informative and engaging. Loved the fact we could pop out for some lunch and come back in on the same ticket. We spent over four hours here and felt the tickets were great value for money. Would definitely recommend.
What an amazing place to go! My daughter who is 10 absolutely loved it! The staff were super friendly, really great at communication and made us feel so welcome. All the animals are kept in lovely clean tanks and well looked after. Even seen some fish I hadn't seen before! The garden bit in between some rooms was amazing, the trees and plants were gorgeous! Really recommend bringing children here as it was a lovely afternoon out!
