The Aquatic Habitat

Well what can i say, ive had previous disappointing customer service from this place a long time ago but was passing through and gave it a second chance. Unfortunately i wish i hadn't bothered. Very unfriendly staff. Ignored us at first when tried to approach them. After finally getting assistance for a goldfish they demanded we go back and get water from the tank so they can test it before allowing us to buy a goldfish. What type of tank, what type of filter, when has the filter been cleaned, how long as it been set up..ect I totally understand that some fish are more delicate and require just the right conditions to live but a common cold water gold fish! instead we walkout and went to blooms garden centre who were more than happy to help and now have a happy goldfish.

Decided to add some more fish to my tank to keep my neon tetras company. Spoke to a really friendly and knowledgeable member of staff there who spent ages with me and answered all my questions. I was left to have a look at the fish with pen and paper in hand so that I could make a note of all the fish I liked. I then showed this to the lady who went through it with me in detail to help me decide which fish would be most suitable. There was no attempt to sell anything and I went home to have a think about the fish I had seen . I thought what a great service and they clearly care a lot about the fish they sell and above all else want them to go to good homes. Gave me huge confidence, what a great aquatic store

I use to go here to buy tropical fish a long time ago. Now i go just see the amazing range of fish, could hours there just looking

Went for new gravel for my fish tank also weed and backing for tank, they had everything I needed, quite pricey, one member of staff very helpful, blonde lady. The other member of staff was unhelpful shorter lady with dark hair, everything seemed to much trouble, no please or thankyou or even a smile, I think a customer service course would do her some good.
