Angell Pets

This is my friends 24 year old pet a bird yes but a total character. I have visited on several occasions and not spoken to her just sat and listened to this parrot he was the most intelligent creature I have ever met he could talk word perfect in my friends, her husband's and their son's voice perfectly he was an amazing funny little fella and I have to admit I actually cried when she told me of his demise in such a horrible way a captive creature who was loved cherished and well looked after would not have a hope of fending for his self in the wild I was so sorry for her wasteful thoughtless loss shame on you ANGELL PETS disgraceful!👎should not be in the business RIP Oscar 💙 They sent her a very poorly copied and pasted letter offering her £400 to keep quiet about the matter which makes me think this is not the first time they have let a true pet lover down I say again shame on you Angell Pets From my friend on her dreadful experience with Angell Pets Having had time to come to terms with the loss of my 24 year old parrot, I feel I should share my experience with all pet lovers. I put my pet parrot into boarding with Angel Pet shop of Spa Road (soon to be moving to Hucclecote), when I went to the shop to book a place I explained (on several occasions) that my parrot on occasions could get out of the cage, Mr Angel assured me he would be safe upstairs in the boarding area. Upon my return I was told Oscar had gone, I was devastated to say the least and had to return the next day for an explanation, he apparently had ferrets in the next room that were overheating and opened the window and didn't shut the door, so he basically let my bird fly away to his death, my family loved and cared for him for 24 years this pet shop couldn't look after him for 2 weeks. I feel this is a breach of contract and negligence, not to be trusted.

Animal health and care are important here. Expert advice provided, and this is important before and after choosing a pet, especually exotic pets. Highly recommended.

Always professional, helpful advice given. This family run business genuinely cares about animals and does what they believe is right - even if it means missing out on a sale. If you ever have any queries about anything they will always try to help out. Service given is second to none.
