right…nfirst of all my lettuce tasted rotten nnext my burger came barley warm and the chicken well that was gross not to mention the missing chips.nafter that we ordered dessert and after not only mixing up my order one of our puddings then came without ice cream but they put ice cream on my lactose intolerant daughters plate.the server was completely clueless and didn’t fix their own mistakes as we ordered on the app.nDefiantly do not recommend and won’t be back anytime soon .
Visited here for a light lunch. Staff were great. Place was full with a mixture of locals & holidaymakers. Food was promptly delivered, and free refills of hot drinks were all available. Food was as advertised and was tasty and hot. Excellent value for money.
The Greyhound is an ideally located Wetherspoons hotel in the centre of Bridport. It was a perfect base for me for the night before heading further east the next morning. I intended to stay in Dorchester but decided to use this hotel as it was significantly cheaper. You have to go to the bar to check in, and from there everything was very quick and well explained. The staff did seem very run off their feet though, and it did leave me feeling a little uncomfortable/unwelcome.nnThe room itself was overall very nice. It was spacious, the decor was attractive, and the bathroom was fantastic. The pillows were not to my general liking but I managed, and the bed was comfortable. The room was opposite the gents toilets which I thought would be an issue but there was no real noise audible once it was time to sleep.nnThe main issue with the room was no signal on the TV, which I decided not to mention as the staff already seemed somewhat stressed and I didn't feel like adding to their woes. However, this meant the room was incredibly boring to be in after I had eaten which I will get onto now.nnI ate an evening meal downstairs, and was very impressed with the fast service. Everything arrived as ordered and in less than 10 minutes. The food quality was absolutely fine and had no real issues here. I would certainly come again to eat.nnCheck out was nice and simple. I left early at 07:15 and all I had to do was pop my key card into a box. Easy, efficient and no reliance on anyone else, just how I like it.nnOverall, I would definitely return to The Greyhound for food, however the staff coming across so stressed did make me feel slightly unwelcome, and therefore I am not sure it would be my first choice to stay at again. It did the job, and I left satisfied, but I would likely return to my usual Premier Inn offering in future.
There was an elderly lady sitting at the next table waiting for it to be cleared. After 30 minutes she went up to the bar to order her food but after a 10 minute wait for service she returned to her still uncleared table and headed home. The premises wasn't busy . Absolutely disgusting you should hang your heads in shame. We did offer to help but she was beyond caring.
Literally saw a drug deal go down whilst having a mid-trip bite to eat.nThe food was a bit lackluster, even for a Wetherspoons, the chips had clearly been sat for the lunch service and had a re-fry.nIf we weren't super hungry looking for a standard grub stop, we wouldn't have come, so it'll be a no for returning.
