This was quite a find.nnWe needed a room that was family suitable, big and would take 5 of us.nnNo easy task but my wife found this place.nnLet's just start off with the fact the room is massive, soundproofed good as we have 3 kids who can be noisy l, but also easily disturbed, and out of the main pub area so also felt very safe!!nnThe pic doesn't do justice to how BIG it actually is.nnWe were in 106 and it obviously has been refurbished recently as the hughe bathroom separate  shower and bath looked brand new.nnCouldn't fault it!!!nnStayed for 2 days and the staff were all lovely. Had a breakfast and for a 'Spoons' was actually really well cooked, plentiful and inexpensive.nnYou can get 'hit and miss' Spoons but this isn't one of them!!!nnIt was always busy in the bar areas hut the staff are super fast, never short of a smile and.food arrives quick!!!nnGenuinely can't fault it!!!

Really rude and aggressive man working behind the bar. I politely asked if I could take a glass out into the garden. ' No' he said scowling!  I was only trying to buy a lemonade .  Toxic workplace and service!  They didn't get a sale. Definitely won't be returning and would advise the public not to also.

Stayed here for 2 nights and everything was very good. Room was excellent with everything we needed included. Parking was about 5 minutes walk. Food was Wetherspoons ie good value for money.

Staff are great, food is as expected... Not the best but mostly edible

I didn’t even buy a drink in the end as had my kids with me. From the drunks hanging around outside to the clientele inside with every other word having four letters. What a pit. Certainly not kid friendly in any way. And not that friendly to anyone with ears and eyes either. Each to their own of course.
