I was looking for a rental property as a student in Manchester but due to the extreme speed with which the rental market moves was finding it hard to even secure a booking. After a visit to Bridgfords, I was given help by Charlotte Mann, who quite simply could not have done more to aid in securing a property. Due to her giving invaluable advice, sending through the details of a property she had mentioned and following up with emails extremely promptly, I was able to secure the property within 10 days of going into the branch, and am now happily installed. I was also out of the country for a large amount of the process and even with this complication on my end it all went incredibly smoothly. It is entirely due to Charlotte Mann's help that I would absolutely recommend Bridgfords to anyone looking to rent a property in Manchester.
I have had the pleasure talking to Izzy, Tom and Charlotte in the process of renting a property. They have been very responsive, resourceful and helpful. Looking at the reviews in the past which are negative in majority, it is not hard to see that this agent used to have a lot of problems. But it seems that they have since acknowledged the issue and have been willing to spend resources to work on their customer service, which, judging by the increasing review score here, has gradually paid off. I was encouraged but in no way forced to post this review. This is mainly to acknowledge the work they put in to make positive changes. Still, viewers, do keep in mind that this review, along with many other 5* reviews, is written as kind of a first impression. Most of us including me at the time of writing the reviews have not even begun our tenancy, so none of these reviews can really represent the experience during or after tenancy with Bridgfords. Do take these reviews with a grain of salt. Edit on 28 Feb 2023: It's been about a month since I moved into the new apartment, and I'd have to say that Izzy and her team have been very responsive through both phone calls and emails and helpful with the inquiries and requests that I have had. For instance, the letterbox and the mattress were both in very bad condition when I first moved in so I immediately requested for replacements of both of them. Literally on the next day I received Izzy's reply that she's contacted the landlord and that the landlord's given approval, and she proceeded to arrange for such replacements, which were subsequently completed in the next few days. I am editing this review to show my appreciation of the team, and I stand by my original rating of 5*.
As a new couple in the UK with a daughter, finding a house has been quite exhausting. We contacted several agents, viewed houses and showed interest, but their response time has been very slow compared to the exceptional service we received from Izzy Tollitt. We viewed the house, showed interest and all the documentation and holding deposit needed to be done was sent within the next hour. It was unbelievable!! Though we are still in the reference check stage, I will definitely recommend Izzy and the services of Bridgfords to anyone new in Manchester that is house hunting! Its been like a dream! Very exceptional and excellent service!
Was really struggling to find a 1 bed flat to live in and was starting to get quite stressed. However, Daniel bright at Bridgfords was excellent and so kind. He was very understanding of my situation and quickly suggested some properties within my budget. He was also very quick at responding to any emails so we very quickly found a place! Would highly recommend, thanks Daniel !!!
Daniel @ Bridgfords has been phenomenal. Myself and partner were struggling to find a property with a quick turnaround. Daniel managed to secure us a property within 6 hours of us applying. No messing about and straight to the point. Very professional and down to Earth. Thanks again!
Daniel Bright is a great Lettings Negotiator. He is nice, efficient and professional. We are renting a flat for 6 months which is difficult under current market situation. He manages to identify one suitable property for us and completed the procedures exceeded our expectation.
Daniel, one of the agents, has been unbelievably helpful and patient with us throughout this whole moving process. We have had some complications during the process, but Daniel has always dealt with us brilliantly, doing his best to find solutions and successful helping us secure the property we wanted. My property is managed by Bridgfords via the city center office. I recently made an urgent request for rental statements going back 5 years to be re-issued as they had been lost. This was a demanding request as tens of statements going back several years needed to be located, retrieved, collated, organised into files and then emailed to me. The request was made on a Wednesday to Thomas Richmond in the city center office and to my pleasant surprise all requested documents were supplied to me on Friday before the requested deadline. Thank you very much Thomas for your great help.
The level of professionalism and speed of finding me tenants for my appartment was outstanding. Paul, Thomas and Izzy work as a real team so they all know what is happening, they were always there to help advise on all queries and they really understood the fast moving rental market. I had one viewing and the flat was taken the same day. The terms of business were carefully explained to me and the team helped prepare all the necessary legal, energy efficiency and safety documents and certificates within days. The flat required some electrical work which I instructed to be carried out by Bridgfords and this was completed and Tenants were in position to move in within 10 days. It's a pleasure to work with this great team so a big thanks to you and all the best, Sally.
Absolutely brilliant crew!! While i was abroad, Thomas Richmond not only helped me find a place while i was struggling to get in touch with other Letting Agents in Manchester, he also gave me full feedback on the property, prepared the paperwork and answered every email and phone call. Also, a special thank you to Charlotte Curtis-Wood who helped me with later stages before tenancy, i.e contracts etc, who also answered every email and phone call. Finally, a shout-out to other employees at Bridgfords, who were as pleasant and helpful as Tom and Charlotte.
