A fantastic local independent café with an excellent selection of "brews, bites and books"! ;). Friendly manager/owner and staff. A calm and relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend it.

Gorgeous little cafe with a very interesting theme. Sit down with a drink and read one of the books available. Came here with a friend, bit pricey in my opinion but might just be worth it to support a nice local business with a unique theme.

I'm not hygiene freak but this was the dirtiest cafe / restaurant I have ever been to. Photos are from the back of the cafe but still in customer area ( hard to belive...). There was 2 more tables- one with dirty dishes which were left and not collected by the young girl who I presume suppose to be a waiter there. Second was occupied by the mentioned above serving girl ( wearing thick pink fur ???) and her friend. She was really not interested in her work at all. To add to this non existing customer service , the place needs really good scrub- I have looked in the bar area and sink was brown from coffee stains, floor and tiled walls were dirty and dusty. I had only ordered cake but I regret I did not see state of the cafe before my girls ate it because I would not have it. My 2 year old got diarrhoea last night and as much I cannot be sure it is from this place nothing else was different in their diet/environment. I will be reporting them to food standard agency.

Poor poor poor. Ordered drinks from a super rude young girl. On paying I handed her the money to receive another dirty look. The young girl then dropped the change into my hand from such a distance as if I had the plague! This then caused the money to drop all over, to then another dirty look. I then awaited my drinks, the same girl in a very rude manner told me to sit and she'll bring them over. Zero manner. Zero customer polite interaction. Both young staff spent all the time playing on their phones. Id advice to avoid this place. Shocking place. What a shame.
