Had a cream tea bought as a present for me and my partner for Xmas and finally got time of work to try it, well worth the Waite, sandwiches were plentiful and great fillings, scones & cream yummy & as for the cake we had to take home,to full to eat at the time. ( since then cake devoured yummy). Staff friendly atmosphere great, deffo come again when back in Wakefield.

Gorgeous cafe so quirky, the food was lovely and reasonably priced. I bought Annie Sloan paint there too and painted all my kitchen cupboards.

Had my first visit to this small, quaint cafe in the centre of Wakefield the other day and I was very pleased with the experience. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting; the staff were courteous and helpful; the food was nicely presented and very tasty. Coffee and tea was of high quality and served quickly and efficiently. My wife and I both enjoyed our visit very much, and will certainly return soon.

Gorgeous tea room! In a beautiful building with plenty of seating, especially upstairs where it's a little more roomy. Child-friendly too with high-chairs available and lots of smiling faces from the lovely staff. Our order was brought to us in good time and served on vintage plates - a lovely touch. Our food was all absolutely delicious and the scones with jam and clotted cream were fluffy perfection and a decent size. I look forward to heading back to sample what looked like a great breakfast menu!

Love, love, love this quirky place! It has become a regular haunt for lunch with the bestie. We can always be sure that the coffee is excellent, the food is delicious & the cake selection is out off thus world. There is à vast selection of vegan & GF options too. The perfect tea shop.
