Good deals usually available. Makes for a cheap and cheerful meal out. Food is obviously frozen stuff bought in definitely- not fancy and freshly prepared stuff, but still fills a spot and is enjoyable enough. Often eat here, as we have a card and you get good deals. Have recently enjoyed the carvery. Nice relaxed atmosphere and ways clean and tidy with friendly staff.
Nice place , clean and friendly . Food is good . Children not controlled by parents worried me for safety reasons . Children crawling around the floor while staff are trying to give people their food and dodging the children . It was also very noisy and my husband who uses hearing aids struggled badly and at one point we had to shout at each other to be heard . The following day we used the adult area and it was quieter . Staff were very friendly and helpful as we are both disabled . There was a children’s soft play area .
I never really expect much quality from chains but after a lunchtime visit yesterday during a long haul journey back to Skye I found myself being pretty surprised. Started with a sharing platter, beautiful fish goujons and tender chicken along with other sides. The main surprise was the 8oz sirloin steak with the extra sides, really well cooked and seasoned lump of meat, excuse the terrible photos, temporary phone being used. Looked after by the beautiful Paige we had good friendly pit stop and for a great price we left pleasantly stuffed. Glad we stopped by.
Staff are great and helpful We were there for a week Sunday to Friday so had the carvery and the pie Wednesday breakfast was great and loads to choose from cooked breakfast is great also we were able to get our blue light discountFood: 5/5
Service was not great. Staff looked and sounded as though they had no enthusiasm for their jobs/employer which impacted on their customer service skills and the atmosphere of the place. When we arrived, we asked for a table for two. We were told to find a table ourselves and then we could order. We found a table in a quieter part of the restaurant which was important to us and were literally about to sit down when a different member of staff asked us to move to a different table, which was in the very busy part of the restaurant. We were packed in like sardines and found it a little difficult to hear each other speaking, due to the voices of so many other guests surrounding us. This was not pleasant. Why couldn't we have a table in a quiet part of the restaurant? The food was terrible. We ordered the gammon steak and the vegan gourmet burger meal. The gammon was too thin, the tomato was missing, and the chips were an embarrassment. I've reviewed the gourmet burger in the "Vegetarian options" section. Vegetarian options: The gourmet vegan burger meal was terrible. The 'brioche' bun was overly toasted on the top and was like tough rubber on the bottom. The knife wouldn't cut through it, I had to hack at it to try to tear it into pieces. The burger should have had 'fake' bacon on it, this was missing. The chips had far too many 'ends' included and they were too thin and scrawny - too thick to be french fries and too thin to be chips - so a nice fluffy middle was never going to be impossible. Everything looked and tasted as though it was from frozen, had been cooked, and then reheated in a microwave.
We stayed at the Premier Inn so used the opportunity to walk to our restaurant. It was really disappointed. The menus advertised £5 cocktails from 5-7pm including two NEW cocktails. As we were staying, I thought it would be a lovely experience to try a cocktail as we were on holiday. There was one member of staff caring for the bar and taking all the food orders. He was unenthusiastic to say the least and at the mention of a cocktail stated categorically that there were NONE. Some of them only had 3 ingredients - most of which were very likely behind the bar. So effectively he REFUSED something that was advertised on the menu and the reason we were visiting at that time. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! POOR SERVICE!!! While I waited to get served for a drink -- the one person behind the bar was taking ALL food and drink orders and it took forever. By the time I returned to my table, the food had arrived and was cold, and the popadom was soggy as it arrived sitting on the bed of rice. I felt ripped off all way round. My husband enjoyed his burger and beer. Brewers Fayre cannot expect one staff member to take food orders and serve all customer drinks. I know they might be trying to save money ... but it was at the expense of service. We didn't visit there for the rest of our stay at the Premier Inn.
Food is ok. From my experience, I have tried items on the menu on more than the one accession and have not been happy with it. Meat is dry. And then the condiments you get are very small if you get any. Staff are nice, but the bar can become very easily crowded when customers are wanting served weather this is food or drink a two till system is a slow option, in my opinion
Took 2 kids here with my partner. Waited 40 mins for food, which was fine as kids were entertained but when it arrived, the food was disgusting. The kids burgers were awful. Our food was inedible, I mean, il eat sub par food if I’m super hungry, which I was but this was gross. Couldn’t even chew the “steak” it was 99% gristle. The chicken goujons were so overcooked it was like trying to bite into a rock. The gammon was tasteless. Staff were great but we were all looking forward to this treat tonight just to leave disappointed. Won’t be back. In total think it was around £15 for adults meals and £5 for kids, which isn’t expensive but at the moment everyone is struggling. There are better places to eat for the same price.
We never complain and this is the problem. We were in Dunelm ridge today for a meal, by the time we received it, it was freezing cold, not just one course ,both of our meals. Very disappointing to say the least.
Food here is excellent. A great selection and it's hot and fresh. The staff are friendly to boot and the selection of beers and gin are very good. It's never too crowded and I only waited like 7 minutes for my food. The menu is up to date and has nice seasonal selections as due to travelling with work I've been here throughout different periods of the year.
