We stayed at chesil beach for a week last weeknnThe food in the restaurant was really top drawer cooked to perfection with high quality products.nnI had the rump steak & it was probably one of the best steaks I've eaten in a long time , probably better than I've had at a high end restaurant.nnThe beer is also well looked after on site & as we had a deluxe caravan we got 10% off in the bars n restaurants which is always a bonus.
Absolutely lovely food and great service from friendly staff. A bit of a wait for food to arrive and the music wasn't exactly background, so the volume could be turned down. I didn't really want to eat my dinner with Rihanna yelling in my ear! Apart from that the restaurant was spotlessly clean and a nice variety of food on the menu.
Had a great Sunday roast here. Portions were huge. Beef was cooked nicely and yorkshire puds were great too. All served with nice veggies and plenty of gravy. This is the 2nd time I've eaten here and both times were excellentnStaff very reasonable and prices were good too. We were staying at the park and they hadna kids meal for £1 offer with an adult main meal which was excellent value for money and good quality too. Would recommend.
Currently on holiday here and the food is second to none! Very tasty fresh and hot ! However the service needs more attention ! Understandably we are just coming out of a pandemic however only having 1 person working at any one time is ridiculous !! Drinks come out slower than the food! We waited 15 minutes after our drinks order had been taken because the poor girl was the only one working and she had to keep stopping to go get the food from the kitchen. I also noticed an area in restaurant pro dominantly used by staff where they gather sit down and have a chat always someone there with a lap top and coffee! Not very professional for guests to see staff huddled in the corner ! Less time spent sat down and more people working may make for a smoother experience.
Ordered chicken and beef burger… both of them were over cooked, dry. Fish was also dry and awful. They asked us if the food was fine, we gave them this feedback but nothing was done to at least try to make us happier. They don’t care about their reputation at all.
