Paul at the Portsmouth restaurant needs a raise! Honestly, I have never experienced such exceptional service and I eat out a lot. I last ate here in March and I wrote a 5 star TripAdvisor review..Today I arrived solo again I love to have days to myself and the second I walked in Paul recognised me and remembered I had been raving about the saffron ailoli last time seriously, bottle it and take my money! That is exceptional service. It's not just the great service though, the food was delicious. I had the pork roulade and wow. The cabbage was perfect too. I will always return here when I do my solo days in Portsmouth.
I had a very upsetting experience at this restaurant. When I tried to order, the staff told me to go to the bar and order my food/drink there, This happened repeatedly as if it was normal. while I noticed other customers were able to order from their tables without any issue. This unequal treatment felt racist and completely unacceptable. No one should have to deal with this kind of discrimination when dining out. The staff’s behavior was unprofessional and left me feeling unwelcome. I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

I had an uncomfortable experience at this restaurant. After ordering just one coffee, we were told we couldn't stay unless we ordered more. Then, just five minutes later, we were asked to leave our table because some random people supposedly wanted it because they wanted to smoke!, even though there were plenty of other empty tables available. it was incredibly uncomfortable. The waiters kept giving us unpleasant looks and seemed to be watching us constantly, as if waiting for us to do something wrong. It felt like we were being unfairly targeted for no reason, which made the entire sitting and enjoying the atmosphere experience stressful and unwelcoming. The way we were treated felt unfair and possibly discriminatory. I can't help but feel that race may have been a factor in how we were singled out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values being treated with respect and fairness. Never again.
Hi Guys, We had a fantastic trip to the shopping center in Portsmouth. We and our 2 friends after a long trip we were just looking for the perfect restaurant where we can rest a little bit and far from the busy by the way it has good atmosphere… so We found it - Brasserie Blanc! The food and the staff is perfect ‘n’ gorgeous! Everything is really tasty and juicy. If You have a trip in Portsmouth You don’t hesitate just pop in the Brasserie Blanc and I guarantee You will not regret it .
We came here for Xmas dinner and the menu is awesome. The beef is so tender and delicious highly recommended. Portions are really filling. We weren't amazed by their cocktails I had to send mine back because they had no raspberries left to make it but still brought the drink to me which was like water.Food: 5/5
Very nice vibe/atmosphere in restaurant. The food was OK. Nothing outstanding about the food, but it was nice. Roast was abit dry so we had to keep getting more gravy. Thankfully it was bottomless. The potatoes and yorkshire are also bottomless but didn't get more of those and didn't finish the ones we had due to the taste. Potatoes tasted like they had been cooked, frozen and then recooked.
Was the evening of the around the world race. My friend and I had eaten here before and it had been nice. Booked a table. Starters were nice, I like snails and they were good, apart from the lack of bread to mop the garlic and parsley sauce up with. We ordered Steaks for main course. They were not as nice as the first time we had them. Chewy, rubbery, bland. Considering the money for them I was expecting more. Vegetables and dessert were good
We arrived WITHOUT a booking and were greeted by Ben who explained that he’d just seated several large tables and because he didn’t want us to be disappointed with the service asked us to relax at the bar for a short while. It was fortunate that we arrived as “happy hour” was ending, but he still went that extra mile to ensure we didn’t miss out on the happy hour opportunity. Our meals were fantastic. The steaks were tender and beautifully cooked. The flavours of the whole meal were fantastic and the food was served on hot plates. Then to top it all, I had the pistachio soufflé and my husband, the crumble and custard. Both were the icing on the cake for our dining experience! Thank you to our waitress Alisha, who was cheerful, polite and efficient. Just wish we lived near by as we’d certainly be regular customers. Thank you to everyone for a lovely dining experience!
