A great piece of modern architecture interwoven into existing historical context of university campus. Coffee shop in entrance lobby is very convenient and the building has many interesting quirks. Concert hall is absolutely brilliant.
Lovely venue, quite small, guessing about 1000 seats. Modern, with an outstanding sound and acoustics system, as you would expect but still intimate enough for discussions and debates. Comfortable seating with leg room I'm 6'3 and had plenty. Toilets are just outside and a coffee shop in the foyer. Excellent.
Highly recommended music venue inside the university. The Elgar hall is exceptional and the facilities are generally good too. Well worth going to a concert or giving a concert here!
I've seen so many great performances here over the years some of which were free to attend ... look out for them. I consider the existence of the Bramall to be a perk of working for the University. The Costa is also handy for less formal meetings.
We had a comedy show at this venue, good sound, nice setting.... Very very nice. There is a bar as well... only issue is you can't take the drinks to your seats with you
Came to see Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra, the venue was excellent

Beautiful building with some stunning architecture. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and a good place to have an explore of. Good Costa too!
