Terrible practice, they're very dismissive and rude. Very nice facilities that don't provide any facilities. Econsults are the only way to get in touch, call them they tell you to go online. Mental health does not matter to them, they'll give you a leaflet or whatever pills they pick out of a hat and leave you to it. No need to actually go in they'll give you medicine without ever seeing you in person. Use any other practice if you actually need help, you won't get it here.
Was a patient at this practice for over 20 years, the GP’s were always good. However, the admin team are shocking. I requested my medical records and was told they would send them within a month after raising a subject access request only to be emailed two weeks later from the Mold branch saying they would not be doing it. Absolutely dreadful service.
Reception never answer the phones. Either leave you on hold for 20+ minutes or it’s constantly ‘user busy’ and you can’t get through at all. It’s ridiculous.
After quite a few issues with getting appointments, I finally lost patience with this practice when waiting for my Covid jab. Despite being in a vulnerable age group, I heard nothing from them for weeks after I should have been vaccinated. I contacted them by email querying the delay and shared my concern that I might have been forgotten. In reply, instead of being supportive and reassuring, perhaps using the opportunity to suggest I hadn't been forgotten, their response was expressed in terms similar to 'it's not your turn yet, unless your circumstances have changed.' A day later I changed to the Quay Surgery in Deeside who expressed surprise at my situation and before the change of details papers were even completed, gave me a vaccination date verbally and a confirmatory text a couple of days later. This suggests a big difference in patient care and consideration even in these very difficult times.
Great service! Great service received from the team, esp Mandy & Hannah getting referrals completed fast and efficiently. The new econsult is a great addition to the service as no longer have to try and get through on the phone the phone consultations are super handy as no need to try and take time off from work last minute.
Excellent care from this practice. They have designed a safe and efficient flu vaccination clinic during this COVID pandemic and made me feel safe attending given my high risk of getting COVID - every member of staff there were aware I needed to collect some items from the practice and allowed me to do this at the same time to minimise visits and risk. When I’ve needed urgent care it was straightforward to be seen quickly that day. They arranged an urgent referral to the hospital without delay. They’ve since kept in contact with my consultant to ensure best care of my condition. Reception staff have always been polite and helpful. The GPs have been proactive about getting in contact to clarify if I know the latest advice from the consultant. However I do feel admin are letting doctors down a bit as perhaps they are not uploading consultant letters or emails from me quickly enough, so that doctors are then losing precious GP time phoning me when the information has been sent to the practice, and should already be available for them elsewhere.
A receptionist named Joanne who I spoke to on Friday was based in mold I collected my prescription yesterday which was Thursday 4th July I was short of 3 of my regular items one being blood pressure and another was a injection that I have to have on a monthly basis the way. I was spoken to was discussing she kept interrupting me and trying to talk over me to tell me I could order them and they would be with me on Tuesday I don't think so not to be without blood pressure tablets for 5days are the having a laugh they need to be retrained in how to help people and not speak to them like she did I am definitely going to take this further I am not going to be spoken to by her again like that
Don't register here. The doctors are more interested in ticking boxes than helping you. I was told to go and use google for what medication I should take for symptoms I had, and that was it phone appt over. This is insane! The lack of interest to help you is alarming from these guys. Look elsewhere if you want good service.
Terrible service. Prescriptions always go missing, wait times are a joke. They regularly run up to 90 mins behind schedule. Standard of care appalling. Special mention goes out to Dr Fielding who’s ability starts and ends with effectively googling your symptoms before sending you on your way without as much as any kind of physical exam. Stunning job.
Whilst the facility seems good the service is incredibly poor. As a sufferer of hayfever for 30years I know my treatment well 180mg Fexofenadine . This is something I’ve suffered badly with since birth. After moving to wales I joined Bradley’s practice to now be told that I’m not getting prescription medicine from them. Actually getting an appointment to see a doctor about this issue is harder than you’d even imagine. Then once finally getting an appointment. Taking days off work. And getting spoken to like dirt by a receptionist with no medical qualifications what so ever. I get told. Have you tried Benadryl they used it’s medical name like the last 30 Years I haven’t bothered trying every single medicine availabile. I then get sent away with some scribble On a piece of paper and zero help. All this is made even worse when I’m having to take days off work un paid because they refuse to give me a late appointment. I just find it shocking how people can be treated so badly whilst already suffering. I’m now traveling over an hour back to my old surgery where the doctors and receptionists treat you like a human and not like dirt they can brush aside whilst they pick up there pay cheque. Hopefully the staff at Bradley’s will one day need help off someone and they get treated with the same level of disgust they offer out.
