This is my favourite park to visit whatever the weather. Great walks for all levels of fitness and abilities with pathway from one end to the other. Or go off the track and hike up the hills for some great views. The deer wander around freely and are great to see.

Huge meadows with deer roaming free. There are areas where one could let the dogs off lead. Paid parking with toilets available. There's a lovely stream which the kids could play in. Get some play fishing nets. Overall a great day out. We have stopped here when driving down south as it's not too far away from M1 to let the kids and the dog run around

Excellent place to go walking and get some fresh air. Kids can run around and there are paths going in different directions. There is a cafe offsite at the main entrance this sells ice cream, hot drinks and cakes. There is wildlife, small brooks that you can paddle in and also rock and tree climbing.

The park itself cannot be faulted. It is beautiful and we visit often. The toilet facilities are roomy clean and pleasant. Two stars were lost because of the tea rooms. The tables needed a good scrub they were very sticky and as we were the only people in there was no reason for this as they were not busy it felt like a build up of gunge from over a long period. The staff were surly and the 'cook' put the toasted tea cakes on top of the butter packs so they had melted and ran everywhere - on the plus side it was a good cup of tea.

A peaceful piece of countryside ideal for a walk for all ages with a good smooth path all the way through. Or take an amble onto the hills and walk up to Old John monument and take in views on a clear day for 30 miles over Leicestershire and Warwickshire. Ideal for a picnic and walk the dog (dogs must be kept on leads at all times). Plenty of wildlife to get up close too. Stags, Deer and Peacocks roam free and a pretty shallow stream runs through the park. Beautiful village setting. Also has a small gift shop and large car-park. No play area for smaller children but perfect for a walk at any time of year.
