As my dad’s dementia progressed the final 9 months of his life were spent at Boughton Manor Nursing Home, the care he received there was outstanding. The home is very spacious with a high standard of cleanliness, they provided good wholesome tasty meals & the care was excellent. The manager Kay was very approachable, she always happy to discuss dad’s care &  answer any questions. The administrator Simone is a true professional, efficient,  extremely helpful & supportive, she cares about the residents and their families. Many care staff have worked at this home for  years, this speaks volumes, they know their residents & treat them as they would their own family. Dawn and Leanne had a special bond with my dad, thank you both for your care & for listening to him singing, ‘Oh Danny Boy’ all day, every day & still showing so much kindness & patience,, clapping & making him smile. My dad’s appearance was always clean &  tidy, his clothes washed & ironed, most importantly clothing was clearly labelled with his name so no items were ever missing. I would like to thank the staff for always keeping me updated with my dad’s progress, for their patience encouraging him to engage in activities, for bringing so much happiness to his life, providing genuine love & care and for showing so much respect & dignity at all times, especially during his end of life care. I was very impressed by the level of care at Boughton Manor Nursing Home &  highly recommend this home. I am forever grateful for their care, kindness & the support given to myself especially during my dad’s final days.  Thank you
