Whilst I’m sure the staff here are well trained and good at what they do, customer service is not their strong point. 30 minutes after arriving with my 2 children, both of whom had eye tests booked, they informed me that someone should have called to let me know that they were short staffed and therefore weren’t able to fulfil both of the tests, they could only do one. A completely wasted journey, and one that I now have to repeat. Incredibly frustrating and annoying that with a simple phone call it could all have been resolved & I wouldn’t be a very unhappy customer…
Every member of staff I interacted with was knowledgeable and friendly. The optician was really thorough. The member of staff who greeted me noticed my glasses weren't fitting well before I even mentioned it and got them sorted. Really great team.
It was a brilliant service by the optician but I did feel that the sales lady who was had a pre-meeting with me to do the pre-optometrist tests was only interested in selling me a 3-D scan which was not appropriate because I needed to have that at the hospital anyway, so that would’ve been a total waste of money as advised by the optician Following my white test. So that is a black mark against the upsell and the lack of care to the individuals customers who do not need services but I’ve would been miss-sold this services which is really not acceptable.
I went there since my eyes were hurting a lot, and the staff took great care of my eyes and helped me get better. To be honest, I get a personal touch from the employees. So beautiful.
The team are welcoming and answer questions patiently. Sally in particular is excellent and deserves recognition for her wonderful care!
