I visited Oxfam with my husband and daughter after Christmas, a day or two after boxing day in 2022. My husband asked the store attendant if a shirt he saw in the shop was new, as sometimes it is possible for donations to be new. The attendant, who I think was the manager, was extremely annoyed, rolled her eyes and rudely stated to my husband "this is a second hand shop". It was very disappointing and uncalled for her to treat my husband in that way. My daughter was very disturbed as she donates a lot to Oxfam but I think she will think twice in the future.
Staff not overly friendly. There is a young chap in there and he looks bored hardly communicates until forced and makes the experience not so enjoyable. The items are nice but expensive. I have seen a number of shoes and coats of interest but they are so expensive I’ve had to leave sadly. I tend only to visit this site for small items cutlery etc.
Nice little charity book specific shop ear Beaconsfield train station. Helpful staff and books are varied and neatly ordered. Some rare books too.
