Bombay Spice

Attempted to eat here today despite the relentless breathe down your neck hovering of the waiter. We ordered starters 1st with a view to ordering the main dish halfway through our starter to avoid the food coming all at once or the main dish arriving immediately after the starter. Above mentioned hovering waiter kept asking if we were ready to order the main dish as the cook needed to know this ??? At this point we left and had an excellent meal at a nearby restaurant. It's no wonder this restaurant has such low/poor reviews. Don't bother eating here.

Truly some of the worst, most tasteless Indian food I've ever had. Maybe better in store, I don't know, but the quality of the food delivered just makes me sad. I'm actually about to throw it away and order from somewhere else instead. :

Food came in a plastic home container- got butter chicken. you have to order the rice extra for a total of around 14 pounds. Had to throw away after one bite- didn’t taste like chicken rather like shrimp and was very bland, will definitely advise to stay away!

We had saag aloo, paneer shashlik, butter chicken, mushroom rice, stuffed naan and tandoori baked trout. The food was delicious and the Prosecco was nice and cold, it was good that the staff brought us an ice bucket straightaway. We will be back !

Great Food and service ! We ordered saag paneer and veg Thali . The menu variety is great and caters to all different Indian dishes. I wasn't happy with the 12% service charge but apart from that the ambience and food is definitely worth the money.

Amazing dinner! We had starters and main dishes and everything was so good, even the rice and naan were special. The service was good but too much, as we were asked the same questions by three different waiters. It would have been much better to just have one waiter. Glad to have found a reasonably priced Indian restaurant where the food is this good!

Great, cozy restaurant with great food and super staff. All you can ever want in a restaurant, and the Indian food was delicious!

Thank you so much team Bombay Spice Saturday night you all looked after our party of 10. The food is totally yummy we were all very pleased with everything you offer. Amazingly fantastic value Happy team and very helpful. I would strongly recommend this Indian restaurant. May I also take this opportunity to thank the team for staying a little later to wait for me as I had lost a cufflink that means the world to me, I phoned them up and they stayed and waited so happy you found it thank you so so much. Worst experience I ever had in this restaurant. Quantity is very less. Though the service what they providing is too bad but the staffs are deducting 12% of the service tax from me. This is Indian restaurant but the taste is not similar to the Indian food. The staffs behaviour is very bad infront of other customers.

Came as a group of 3 Service was a joke The person had some attitude problems Was extremely rude Lots of hidden charges Portions was so small I had to go to another place after We asked for the bill to remove the service charge waiter got upset and started naming random prices he came up with in his head this bag cost £1 this container cost £2 this salad cost £0.85 he then said we're on baker street, I've worked in retail before a box of 500 plastic boxes cost £17-20. Even if you read the reviews many previous customers had change their opinion shortly with all these hidden cost Do not come here Really bad rude service Not worth it unless your looking for a arguement
