The curries taste like Indian home food. Amazing spot to stop at after a long day shopping at Oxford Street. This place is favoured by locals as well as Arabic tourists, from The Gulf. Very friendly and welcoming staff even though we arrived minutes before kitchen closes.
I'm touched by the hospitality. I took my mom to this restaurant today for lunch, on her birthday. We had wonderful lunch including chicken and veg dishes. As their washbasins are at one level below the ground, it would have tough for my mom to take staircase. The manager provided an access to private lift. As I was chatting with him and told him about the birthday, he asked me with disappointment why I didn't inform earlier and quickly went upstairs and gave us this special surprise cake! We are very touched. He made the birthday even more special! Coming to the food and staff, absolutely fantastic. All dishes we tried were well prepared and served. Staff is super polite and active. I would definitely go back again and would recommend everyone to try it out. Cheers to the team!
Not the best / authentic Indian food I’ve had… spices are toned down to suit the western palate. But it was not bad. Just very average.Food: 3/5
A hidden gem My colleagues, were looking for some lunch and we found Roti Chai. I was very impressed with the food and the service was good. All the food was perfectly cooked and spiced. The lollipop chicken starter and GT road chicken main were amazing. Have a cup of masala chai after your meal to help it all settle too!
The most delicious and delightful curry experience I've had ever! Definitely let your taste buds experience both the Street Food ground floor and the Restaurant down stairs! Staff very welcoming and attentive to really complete the wonderful fine dining at Roti Chai.
One of the best Indian food we ever had in UK, we travelled from Manchester and was just looking for an Indian food and Roti chai pooped up. I would it was one of the decision we made.. Everything was on point from welcoming,Service to Food. Next time when we are in London definitely gonna come back to this place. Only half of the food that we ordered. Absolutely incrrrredible, like wow. All the wait staff were so so good. Some of the staff including Jordan & Atul were super accommodating. Rotichai is an absolute delight! I miss authentic Indian taste and search end at Rotichai. The flavors burst with authenticity, Real Indian taste in London and the service is top-notch. Staff is really nice and humble. The cozy ambiance adds to the overall experience. Don’t miss their Chilli Paneer, Kheer and Idli Sambhar – they’re divine! Must try
Roti Chai in London delivered a fantastic dining experience! We started with the crispy and flavorful Chicken Sixty Five, Palak Papri Chaat, and the Gilafi Seekh Kebab which were decent. Loved their Butter Chicken which was creamy with just the right amount of spice. The Koliwada Fish Curry was the standout, and the Old Delhi Chicken Biryani was aromatic and packed with tender chicken. We finished with a deliciously creamy Mango Kulfi. The ambiance was vibrant and the service attentive.
