Bolingbroke Motors : beware .... I requested an itemised VAT receipt for my records in the event my 2011 Viano was sold. The receipt I received did not split out what parts were replaced, and service added. The amount was not disputed but I expected to understand what parts were replaced and costs of these split from labour. All the receipt mentioned was a brief description of the segment of exhaust replaced incl. of labour. When I requested a more detailed receipt the owner said no labour was charged then my worst fears that he had fitted non Mercedes parts contrary to instructions. The discussion took a turn for the worst, no invoice was issued and I was took to get lost. I was advised by Bollingbroke Motors the exhaust was not a warranty item, however after speaking to Mercedes, the damage involved was. An exhaust on a diesel should last several times longer than the 25,000 miles 2 yrs. I am underwhelmed by Bolingbroke Motors, had expected more fro this local company and feel I have been lied too. The final statement by Mr Bolingbroke was "why don't you take your vehicle to Mercedes" ... something I will do next time.
