Sales man couldn't have been more uninterested in helping! Shame we have a lot of carpets to replace !
Salesman very knowledgeable and helpful with no “hard sell”, he gave great advice and arranged our fitting too. Prices are good and quality of carpet is great. The fitters were just as good as they got the job done with no hassle. Would recommend to anyone.
I had a good experience to start with with Bogans-they measured up my empty new flat promptly-after being given the keys. i was pleased with the price and the cushion floor choice. However, my measurements wern't correct-which i guessed they wouldn't be!-and i popped in to the shop to pay the money i owed. i got a receipt for this-but in spite of that i was asked three times over the next few days to pay the money. i specifically asked for the fitters to come 'after 11a.m.' on a specific day-to allow me time to get over from Liverpool by bus. In fact i said it three times in the shop, as the chap did not appear to write it down in his book-though I noticed it was listed UNDER another call. I tried to ask when the fitters would be due - morning or afternoon-but they refused to say. i was annoyed when i was rang up at 10a.m. on the day of the fitting and asked 'where i was and that i was down for 'first call'! which simply wasn't true. They came back later in the day to fit my flooring and did an excellent job. BUT they left bags and bags of rubbish-plastic bags, tiny offcuts etc saying they 'wern't allowed to take these away'. as a disabled person living in sheltered housing with one tiny bin that is emptied every fortnight, I had no way whatsoever in getting rid of this. i then had to pay another 'man with van' £85 to take it all to the tip. i appreciate larger leftovers would be left-but not all the rubbish from the wrapping as well. On a tight budget, i was not best pleased-and with the extra faff on in the middle of moving..
Just had lino fitted to a fantastic quality finish ,could not be bettered . Very happy .I have used bogans a few times for carpets . The staff are brilliant could not fail to please you ,exceptionally friendly Perfect manners rare these days . Money well spent!
Dreadful experience with Bogans. Just tried to view the carpets and got told we have to have an appointment - Nothing on the website about his at all. I suggested they add it to the site and got told I was rude. The woman then started to rant on about staff safety all while trying to get her face mask on... Not even told how to make the appointment and when I asked - It's on the sign was the only response. Not helpful at all, rude and not observing the rules she expected other to follow means you get no business from us ever. Will also be letting others know. Bogan /ˈboʊɡən/ BOHG-ən is Australian and New Zealand slang for a person whose speech, clothing, attitude and behaviour are considered unrefined or unsophisticated. So true in this case.
Great selection good prices, great service. Used Bogans a couple of times never been disappointed.
Staff was extremely helpful in advising me what I wanted and needed. Would recommend you visit if you need flooring like I do
