Absolutely amazing are the best the words to describe this masterpiece of a restaurant. Not a huge number of seats so it is a good idea to reserve in advance. The food is delicious and made with premium ingredients. Great selection of drinks as well, however I was surprised that they did not serve Guinness. Staff are super nice and the atmosphere is also what I would expect. Vegetarian options: They have vegan food and salad as well Wheelchair accessibility: I believe the stairs at the entrance would be an issue, but not if you sit on the terrace
One of the best steakhouse places in Ireland. They get you exactly grilling degree you want while letting you choose all the sides and toppings you'd like to have with your steak. Leave space for the chocolate mousse at the end. A bit tight place but highly recommended.
Lovely food, lovely restaurant and lovely people. We’ve tried to get here on about 4 different occasions because every time we tried they never had a table so we finally did the sensible thing and booked a table and it was so worth it. The interior is a bit cramped and not so well lit so I would definitely recommend sitting outside and getting that “French feeling”. The food menu is short and the alcohol menu is extensive - the way it should be. You pick your cut of meat, the sides you want and what sauce. Essentially creating your own meal which is amazing as you have control over your own plate. Reasonable prices considering it’s steak. Highly recommend for a date and to book a table in advance or come earlier during the day.
Have been here a number of times, and will be back. Small but lovely restaurant, friendly staff, and the nicest steak in Dublin! Great choice of toppings and crusts for your steak too
Place was busy and a little rough around the edges so nearly didn’t sit but glad we did as this was a delightful little diamond with really delicious steaks. Beautifully cooked and a real surprise find! Very much enjoyed our evening.
Was a nice and small local restaurant. My steak cut was nice and the sides were good too - one thing was staff seemed very busy. We needed to ask for water to get it refilled and fries we had ordered. it was hard to catch their attention. Eventually had to call them out loud cus they couldn't hear us or see us. Charges for sauce and sides were a bit surprising but in general wasn't too overpriced for the location. Wish there was mushroom sauce.
Pretty nice place! Quite small but atmosphere and decor was quite nice. Service was quite quick and the staff were lovely. Starters we had were piri-piri prawns and Buffalo wings - both were really good! The steak were all quite good. Tastes good with sauces were good peppercorn sauce maybe a little too much peppercorn?. I was expecting a little more oompf specifically since it was a steak place but it was good, couldn't say anything particularly bad. Overall pretty pleasant experience!
Good food, good service, nice vibe. For that price, though, you'd expect the sides to be included. Also, acoustics aren't great, I had to constantly raise my voice. Quality of meat compensated for much…
Brilliant. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced for a steak restaurant in the city center. outshone any big chain steak place I have been to at a much cheaper price. great cuts of meat and all cooked as asked. i really loved the simplicity of the menu that also delivered a wide variety of extras and sides. the boneless chicken started was the highlight for me. delicious. the atmosphere in the restaurant was great, felt very intimate without being claustrophobic. lovely decor aswell. the staff were brilliant very attentive and friendly, a credit to the food. great cocktails aswell. would highly recommend to any stake fan on a visit to dublin.
We came here based on a recommendation from a local friend, the meat was good quality and the service was excellent. Cuts are a bit small in size but don't miss on the many different sides you can choose which complement really well anything you order. Special mention to the melted raclette with potatoes and the garlic butter sauce ... Get those. My cut came a little over medium I wanted medium but it wasn't a big deal since the flavour of the meat was really good. There are some tables outside but with roof so you can enjoy your meal being out of the restaurant, next time I would probably choose those since being inside you get covered in the lovely smoked smell of the grill. Thank you Boeuf!
