Room was dirty and window was filthy see attached pics. Every time you flushed the toilet. think jumbo jet on take-off! Day of partners operation was great. Next day terrible tried to give my partner food she was allergic too. Did not seem too bothered when she complained. Spoken to like dirt from a senior member of staff. Staff then seemed scared to make any comment on this. Unreliable equipment being used to assess discharge potential. Staff unwilling to question this. Administration parts all terrible and far too much waiting around. I thought private medical was supposed to be like the gold standard of medical care! Go here accepting the fact you have skipped the queue and nothing more and you will not be disappointed.
I was in Ross Hall Hospital for a Total Hop Replacement. I was looked after amazingly well. All of the staff - from the surgeon and anaesthetist to the sisters on the ward, the nurses, physiotherapists, catering team and auxiliaries were all excellent. I was really well looked after and felt in very safe hands. The staff were so positive and very caring - no matter what the time of day, or night. They responded to the buzzer quickly and always entered my room with a smile, asking what they could do to assist me. I could not rate my experience more highly.
I attended the hospital for some scans and urgent surgery. My consultant was very knowledgeable and managed to squeeze me in for surgery within a week of meeting him. He also provided me with a great deal of informative about the procedure and my scan results. When I was admitted to the hospital, the nurses were all so lovely and helped me to get settled and calmed any worries I was feeling. The catering team were also so nice and provided me with very nice food. Surgery went very well and the nurses were very helpful afterwards. They responded to the call button very quickly and assisted me almost immediately. My consultant came back up to check on me in the morning to explain the survey in detail and how it went. They also comforted me when I was feeling sick after the operation. My only small complaint would be that there was works being done whilst I was in the hospital. This meant that I was woken up after not getting much sleep after surgery to drilling and builders talking very loudly. I would have appreciated not being so close to the works going on.
The standard of care was outstanding from the day of my first consultation to complications after surgery. The nurses go above and beyond to be caring, compassionate and supportive. Care was quickly seen to and everything explained clearly and professionally. Couldn't recommend RH to anyone more. The food was lovely and the kitchen service / rooms were akin to a hotel. The staff couldn't do more to make you feel as comfortable as you possibly could. Special shout out to ward 213.
My experience with the hospital has been pleasant. The consultant I saw was professional and friendly. The MRI staff was helpful and understanding about my claustrophobia. The process of booking an appointment to final consultation was smooth and straightforward. The facilities are clean and easy to find and access. There's ample parking space within the hospital with disabled access.
I was very nervous going in for an operation to my back. Every staff member I met prior to the operation was very reassuring and supportive of myself and each other. Post op and recovery they could not do enough to make sure I was comfortable and was eating properly. I wasn’t rushed to go home, It was all at my pace. The nursing staff were exceptional particularly Emma, Anne, Leticia, Gore and the student nurse on day shift sorry I missed your name. The team in pre-op were also great, Sean, Kevin anaesthetist and those in recovery that looked after me I’m sorry I’ve forgotten names, nerves and anaesthetic. Finally, the food was excellent and the staff were amazing. I love the fact we have a national health service in Britain, however I would have had to wait months for the procedure I needed. I cannot recommend the team at Ross Hall enough… thank you for taking care of me. You kept your promise and made sure I woke up!
Was here 10 days ago to have my tonsils removed . My initial surgeon caught Covid a couple of days before my surgery & I was told it would need to be re arranged but they gave me no date as to when it could be. I had already paid in full for the op to be done & After letting it sink in I phoned back and asked if there was anybody else that could do the operation as I’d booked 2 weeks off work for recovery & it wasn’t easy to get that time off with a few days notice . 2hrs later they phoned back with the good news that they had found another ENT surgeon who could carried out the operation. I cannot thank the staff & Mr Murray enough . Everyone I met and dealt with was great .. Peter the nurse was super helpful the morning of my op and calmed my nerves . The rooms are a little bit dated but they are clean . Would 100% recommend .
I couldn’t thank anyone more for the treatment and level of care and attention I received at Ross Hall recently. The theatre and ward staff were all amazing and kept me at ease the whole time and the physio staff were so patient with me when getting me back on my feet! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hospital to anyone considering treatment and thank you again to everyone!
The staff were great. My procedure went smoothly, the care was second to none, and the hospital was clean. The hospital is undergoing major improvements, so expect some disruptions but nothing to worry about. For those booked in, hope everything goes well for you.
Absolutely fantastic treatment and care of my son, who was in for an operation. The staff were tremendous and made us all feel at ease. Their aftercare was excellent too. Thank you very much to everyone involved in our care. Would highly recommend.
