Very nice experience. Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with some high-quality facilities. Three saunas to choose from, but the unique attraction was the one lined with Himalayan salt bricks. The steam room also had a beautiful touch, with a big piece of natural amethyst sitting in front of the steam vent/section. The spa also provided some nice sensory experiences, with two jacuzzis situated in dark rooms with starlight effects above, and if you enjoy hot and cold sensations, then there is a snow room too. I also had a deep tissue massage. The therapist and treatment were of a very high standard. The staff and the attention to detail were excellent throughout! In terms of cost, this is towards the high price end. However, you get what you pay for, and here you are paying for luxury facilities and exceptional services. I did not feel let down on either front.
Fantastic stay from start to finish, I was warmly greeted and shown to reception. I was made to feel valued and I was well informed about the amenities. I want to specifically thank Chuck for going above and beyond for my birthday. He is a true professional and has an excellent manner. He is an asset to the organisation and I will most definitely be back again. Thank you to the entire team at Blythswood for making my birthday an unforgettable experience.
Oh, this place is absolutely amazing. The spa is incredible with so many different spaces with different health benefits. My favourites were the lemongrass steam room and the snow room!! There were two different sized, extremely hot saunas, a salt room and a tepidarium. There was a pool with string different jets and a dark pool at the end with a surprise!!! That dark pool needs a railing! Just incredible. Loved the whole experience. We had room service and breakfast both of which were delicious and the staff were so accommodating, helpful and friendly. All in all, it was an amazing experience. Can't wait to come back. Any chance of a family spa day?!!!
Really lovely spa, very clean and in good repair. There is a salt room, a steam room, two saunas, a tepidarium, a snow room, two pools and a dark room in the pool. I went mid week and it wasn't that busy. The staff are lovely, you are provided with flip flops, robes, towels and water. Two hours is plenty of time in the thermal experience. The lockers are code controlled.
Exactly what you'd expect from a venue held in such high regard, outstanding!
Throughly recommend a spa experience package, including lunch/early evening meal, for a special occasion, as not cheap. The spa is amazing, and I've found that all the massage therapists I've experienced provide excellent treatments. The meal after your spa experience is now served in the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, and the experience continued the relaxed ambience of the day.
Had a fantastic time today in the spa. Tremendous place with all the different spa facilities. Had a brilliant hot stone massage from Lucy, couldn't be happier. Whole experience was very calm and soothing.
I have a fantastic experience at the Blythswoods Spa recently. The facility itself is stunning and has everything you could want for the perfect wellness day. I began with 2 hours utilising the Thermal suite. I then was treated to a incredible bespoke massage by the lovely Mel. Mel is so professional and talented at what she does. I was also really impressed to learn that many of the staff at the spa are oncology trained to allow them to offer treatments to individuals that have gone through cancer - such an important service to be able to provide. My day was capped off with a beautiful lunch in the Hotel restaurant. 10/10 experience, couldn't recommend enough!
I really did enjoy this place, a few things need sorted, not enough single chairs to lie on round the pool, more hooks would be good too, the over head jets in pool didn't work. Apart from that I had a really incredible massage.
Fantastic day at the spa, treatments were excellent then we had 3 hours in the " thermal experience " area,best Dpa experience I've had.
