This was the worst hairdressing experience I have ever had. I bought a groupon for a cut and colour and when I arrived the owner was clearly overbooked as she had three people in the salon and two coming in the door to start appointments and only had her and one other hairdresser. The place looks run down and is tiny and she was extremely rude to me because I hadn't printed out my voucher on paper even though I have the app on my phone with the codes and bar code which she refused to take because she didn't want to turn her computer on her words and may get the code wrong how difficult is it to copy a code ? I offered to email it to her and she said no I would have to go to an internet café to print it out, I tried two different ones which were closed and then she said that my appointment would be cancelled and no refund given or I could leave the price of the treatment under her till until I gave her the printed voucher tomorrow. At this stage the other customer who was in the same situation as me walked out the door saying she didn't like the salon or her attitude and she should keep the money. The whole time I was there she told every customer several times that "that wee girl" forgot her voucher and that's why she was in a rush and their appointments were late. If I didn't need my hair cut so badly I honestly would have given her a piece of my mind and left like the other customer did at this stage so I just tried to pretend I didn't hear her blaming me and talking about me like I wasn't there.  She completely ignored me for ages, took a total of almost 4 hours to do a crappy cut and colour and tried to charge me extra for the "thickness of my hair", I said no that wasnt on the voucher and so she only put colour in the top part and used water to dilute it I also noticed a massive dry part on the side where there was no colour . When she went out for a cigarette the other two customers in the salon immediately expressed their shock and disappointment at her attitude and the salon, one woman had been charged and extra £40 for 40ml of Keratin treatment she didn't want. I had to go back the next day and give her the paper voucher in order to get my cash back. It was the worst experience my hair looks horrible and I implore you not to go here!

I used this salon last year as I had a voucher through one of those deal sites - half head of highlights and cut for £25. Stylist was lovely, did a cracking job only complaint was I I travelled all the way in to be told a stylist was off and I had to return - but she did a good job the next day so pleased overall.  So when I seen the same deal advertised recently I was really excited. Biggest mistake ever! The salon owner is the most brash, rude person I have ever came across. Treats all customers like a massive inconvienance. Left me sitting myself for half an hour when I walked in then told me if I was under 18 I had to come back another time in my 20s don't look that young...  Also kept going on about how the vouchers hardly made her any money n she hated doing them, making me feel like a total inconvienance. professional eh!  SO. Finally sat down. I asked for two colours through my hair which she said I was entitled to no idea why it wouldn't cost them anymore plus I had it the last time and then because I had previously had a full head of bleach so she refused to highlight my hair altogether incase my hair snapped been bleaching my hair for 12 years I know it wouldn't and then told me quiet aggressively three times to dye my hair brown?!  After saying no the stylist who was lovely btw really friendly polite and did a good cut - just the owner that lets the place down offered to put a couple of lowlights in to make it less bright. And I mean a few. Maybe four or five lowlights which you could barely see and washed out straight away.  So here I am ragin I've wasted £25 on a voucher for a half head of highlights and here comes the best part - she expects me to pay £25 quid on top of that as I have hair past my shoulder?!?!  How blantantly mis-selling is that - voucher price is £25 yet they charge you it again for having hair past your shoulders.  So not only am I walking out with stinking black roots I'm expected to pay double? HA.  Even if I did have ridiculously long hair she's put maybe a quarter of a head of colour on. so the full head of colour hasn't even been done.  I had to go to a salon the next day and pay full price to get them to actually dye my roots.  The funniest part is I'm getting constant threatening phonecalls and messages from her to go pay the £25 - that'll be right! What a service!  Currently under complaints procedure with the voucher company.  Oh and when they offered water I said yes she filled it up from the tap in the toilet?...  Seemed like a bargain but ended up paying more to get it fixed and wasted money on a voucher. AVOID!  oh and funny part is she's reviewed herself on this not - realising her name comes up.

Had an awful experince at Tanz n Hanz, the boss was very unprofessional and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwanted, I was left with bruises on my legs after waxing. I will never set foot in this unclean & unprofessional "salon" ever again!

i have had hollywoods done in other salons and they can take from anything from an hour to an hour and a half, always painful and left bleeding.Now that i go to lorraine my waxing is done in uner 10mins and its the cleanest wax i have ever had, and not painfull at all. Thanks lorraine

I was just about to pay for a Groupon voucher, but thought I would check out exactly where it was on Google Maps.Thanking the starts that I did! Found it under its previous name Tanz and Hanz oh dear! and so glad I read the reviews. Sounds like a horror show, will be steering well clear

Really nice staff, friendly atmosphere and always been very happy with my hair

Worst hairdresser wouldn't go again and I won't recommend to anybody.
