Despite the roadworks outside, I loved everything about this hotel. An easy walk from Glasgow Central and a 5 minute taxi ride from SEC. Friendly and welcoming staff who can’t do enough for you. I enjoyed a delicious seafood linguine in the bar. The breakfast was excellent, especially the omelette bar. Pleasant clean rooms and This Works toiletries were a winner for me. Thank you.

A superb hotel in a great location with easy access to the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the stay very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with excellent heating and a large TV — perfect for relaxing after a day out.nnThe restaurant being open 24 hours was a real highlight — the food arrived within 15–20 minutes and the portions were generous and delicious. There is paid parking available, though it would be even better if private or complimentary parking were offered.nnOverall, a fantastic experience with great service, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays.

I love staying here. Every time I visit Glasgow I stay at this hotel.nnIt has plenty of car parking and is free for blue badge holders. It's also a 5 minute walk from Central Station. For me it's conveniently located.nnStaff have always been friendly when I visit and the rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful in a buffet style. The bar also serves food until 11pm.nnI definitely recommend staying here.

We spent two nights here for the start of our Scotland adventure. We were given a nice room upgrade and found all of the staff super friendly and helpful. With our Marriott status breakfast was included and it was an excellent breakfast. All of the staff went above and beyond at the buffet. The lounge was a nice place to relax and have a few snacks. We did make a meal out of it for one night.nnWe actually paid for three nights because we wanted to make sure we had a room when we arrived at 6am on our first day. The hotel made this easy and the communication to ensure our room would be available was great.nnWe got a bit of a surprise two months after our visit. It was a 100 pound parking ticket. On our final day here we rented a camper van and brought it to the hotel and we parked it under the hotel front door awning. It was too large for any  of the parking spaces none were available anyways. We parked it here while we brought out things to the van and organized it before we hit the road.nnI called the hotel and explained the circumstances and they canceled the parking ticket for us. Many thanks!

Please book at your own risk. I had to cancel my booking for the second week of December due to a family emergency still more than six weeks away and was shocked to learn that the hotel refused to refund even a single penny.nWhen I tried to explain the situation the lady at reception was extremely rude and dismissive. I asked to speak to the manager, but they didn’t even bother. For a brand like Marriott, I expected much better treatment and understanding.nI’ve stayed at many hotels before, but this experience has completely put me off. Never again, Marriott.
