A stunning hotel only 10 minutes walk from all the major attractions. The breakfast was really good and the family room we booked was a really good size and looked great.nA couple of issues though; We found bottletops under the bed which made us worry about how clean the room actually was. The beds were far too firm and the duvets really thin. I have a firm mattress at home but this was like sleeping on a door. Oh, and the shower/tap switch could only be operated by the incredible hulk.
Booked here last minute when a different hotel didn’t work out for us,nWe stayed in the Rowallan suite and absolutely loved it.nThe room was perfectly clean, large and bed was incredibly comfortable.nBreakfast was good, I will say it was nicer on the second day. Staff at breakfast were lovely, wasn’t too busy. I went down one morning to grab a coffee and the staff offered a bag to grab a pastry too while I waited to have breakfast later.nnWe didn’t eat in either of the restaurants so can’t comment on thatnnEvery staff member we came across couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, from housekeeping to front of house all had a smile on their face the whole time and greeted us.nnMade a few small requests and all were dealt with very promptly, had asked for a slightly later checkout as we had a later flight and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating.nnExecutive lounge was clean and had complimentary soft drinks and Nespresso coffee.nnLocation was excellent, 5 minute walk to the city centre and was close to the hydro which was the reason for our trip.nnThe only small comment I would say is it would be great if there was better lighting at the desk mirror, even a lamp of some sort for getting ready as that are of the room is a little darknnWe have stayed in numerous hotels and this was definitely a wonderful experience for us.
I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Glasgow. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well located, making it easy to enjoy the city. What really stood out was the exceptional service from the reception staff. Harshita and Rafela were absolutely great — both were welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They made check-in smooth and were always happy to assist with any questions. Their warm attitude truly made a difference and made me feel valued as a guest. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.
Me and my partner stayed for 2 nights.nWas an incredible stay staff wore so helpful and friendly every single one of them. Breakfast tasted so good. We wore honestly extremely happy with are stay and we will look for marriott hotels from now on when we travel.
Our children booked 2 nights for our anniversary, can't find anything negative to say about stay. But we found out after getting home they charged us for a bottle of prosecco which my daughter had already paid for. They also took £50 which we understood was for extras if we ordered anything over what my children paid. But today we have had £86 taken from our account plus £36 still pending. After a great stay it's now a pain having to try and get our money back.
