An amazing heritage railway best time to visit is on events like road meets rail you get to see obviously the steam trains but also traction engines and live music. Definitely worth a visit.
Brilliant day out immersed in a time gone by. Thanks to all the volunteers that take the time to ensure everyone is educated and looked after. The Shed at Sheffield Park is full of interesting Trains and you can get up close and as personal as you wish. The running train drivers allow the next generation a minute on the foot plate, all good fun and appreciated. Thank you.
Super place. You could easily spend all day here. Train trips, many static exhibitions, workshops, museum, cafe, restaurant, gift shop. Well recommended.
Riding on the steam trains is a wonderful experience. There has been so much work done over the years to restore the stations, locomotives and track. A day at the railway is highly recommend.
Exciting and nostalgic trip back to the days of steam and Third Class travel. Enthusiastic volunteers dressed in vintage clothing can answer all your questions. The museum is packed with memorabilia. Very good food and drink facilities - at 2022 prices, of course.
Well established heritage railway with a good variety of steam locos. The staff were extremely helpful and the facilities were second to none. Good value for money was a nice surprise.
Fantastic steam railway that meanders through the West Sussex countryside for just about long enough to get a real sense of travelling back in time. Consisting of several stations and a great engine shed at its finish, this is a railway that is much loved by adults and children alike. Featuring in just about every period drama you are likely to see on television, the railway is run by very well versed and dedicated enthusiasts who also oversee the trust that has an excellent track record of not just preserving this railway, but actually expanding it. Go on, you know you want to!
Went for the santa special and would recommend it!! Great experience for children. The steam train was a great experience for both children and adult!
Came here yesterday, I really enjoyed the train ride and it is worth coming here if you love steam trains or if you want to go out for the day with the family.
