Having used Bleakhall Motors for the last 9 years, I find they are very courteous, communicative and deliver a very good service to their customers. Prices are fair. You don't get a car wash when the car is returned to you but that is a small matter really. I notice plenty women take their cars to this garage and I think it's safe to say we feel comfortable doing so. I recommend this garage based on personal experience.

Went in after reading all the positive reviews online for a sluggish acceleration on my car due to overfilling the engine. Was informed that diagnostics was £35. No problem. Mechanic said that spark plugs and coils needed changing. Wouldn’t give me a list of things to change. So I could get them myself. Because “you can’t get it cheaper elsewhere” He said. 

Left the car there. They open at 8am. Went there at 8:30 and magically they had repaired my car because “delivery arrived first thing in the morning”. Got quoted £275 to change spark plugs and coils. Called another local mechanic and was told that I’m obviously being cheated. 

I asked to take my car back because I didn’t have enough to repair it and this couldn’t be done because the coils “broke” and my car would need to be recovered. I had no evidence of this ( he couldn’t show me any of the broken coils or the old spark plugs). 

But the car was moving fine beforehand and could drive meaning that not all 4 coils needed changing. 

The guy said I could pay £230 in cash but wouldn’t give me a receipt or anything. This means that there’s no proof of me even going there in the first place. No invoice of the order either. This place isn’t as good as the reviews say. Avoid at all cost if you’re a young girl and a novice about cars !!! 

This place doesn’t even deserve 1-Star!!

I have been using them for my MOT and servicing since last few years . Always perfect servicing and excellent customer experience.  Reasonably  charge for any extra parts required. completely trust on them. I would definitely  recommend them.

Groupon for MOT and service. I should have imagined it... they were going to find stupid things and make me pay more but... I tried my luck. Headlights aiming too low. Windscreen wipers not cleaning properly. Extra charge for the premium oil. I won't make the same mistake next year and I'll go somewhere else.
