wouldnt even give you joke of a supposed to be doctors a one star and this surgery is being reported all through covid my dad was trying to get and appointment with yourselves yet no ansa or fobbed of he finally managed to get one then the day before his appointment you decide to cancel it no reason why and didnt book a new one was cancelled via text 6 months hes been trying becauze he had a lump on his tounge well guess what itd got worse i called you so he could see someone and i got fobbed of even after explaining hes in pain and cant hardly eat well luckly pinfold gave us an appointment and now through yourself neglecting patients hes been diagnosed with the big C WORD through yourself this could of been treated earlier if you had seen him and referred him. im going to do everything in my power to get this place shut down and sue you. im glad i left you years back what a waste of time PLEASE PEOPLE FOR YOUR own sakes leave this practise and go elsewhere.
The appointment I had was great, the doctor really listened, showed he cared and was very thorough. The experience I had trying to get the appointment was completely the opposite!! I have asthma and was having chest problems, so I called at 8.04 Monday morning, waited on hold for over 1 1/2 hours just to be told no appointments left and said they weren't able to book me an appointment for later in the week. They advised me to call out of hours, but they didn't have any appointments either. I called the surgery back, they still wouldn't book me an appointment but told me to do an e-consult and a doctor would call me even though there were no appointment slots left!. I did an e-consult and had an email back to say a doctor would call me by 6.30 on Tuesday. 6.30 Tuesday came and still no phone call, so I clicked on the link in the email at 6.31 and said I would get a phone call by 6.31 Wednesday. I eventually had a call at 4.20 on the Wednesday, but I was holding a meeting at work, so they left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I called back half hour later I was advised the doctor who had called me had left for the day, so I would either have to call the next morning for another appointment or they could put me back on the e-consult list, but the next appointment wasn't until the following Monday!! After a lengthy discussion with the receptionist and explaining the issues I have had I think a couple of coughing fits down the phone helped as well! he agreed to message the doctor who was still in to see if he was able to call me before he left, but warned that he was due to leave at 6. 6.05 came and still no call, I was fuming - but then at 6.10 he called! He was professional, understanding, took his time despite it being past his finish time and a total asset to the surgery. Unfortunately the surgeries' systems and procedures are totally unsatisfactory and make it virtually impossible for someone who works full time to get an appointment. Something needs to change! But the doctor I spoke to was great!!
Absolutely shocking practice Literally pass the book to the hospital Rang at 8 5 mins engaged managed to get in the que cut off rang back after been 60 in the que to be told no appointments Wouldn't mind but this is for poorly toddlers and with the viruses going around at the moment including strep a I'm surprised they want to pass on seeing children Patients are been fobbed off with a&e for general dr appointments no wonder the ambulances are waiting outside Literally join any practice but this one
Disgusting service from the paramedic based at the practiceafter contacting them due to an elderly parent having a leg ulcer which occurred after a fall and requesting a DN to visit the paramedic who did visit as requested by the gp said that NO DN was needed and to self treat at home then prescribed acne cream Thanks to their inability to do the job correctly the elderly parent is now in hospital with sepsis The place is a disgrace Not even worth rating them, this is not the first time negligence has occurred
Absolutely disgusting 3 weeks iv been trying to get a appointment for me and my 3 children all they ever say is call back at 8 when you call back at the time they ask they still say the same thing Absolutely waste of space of a place needs shutting down, And they wonder why the hospitals are over run.
Called for 8 am ,in que for over 1 hour just to be told that there are no appontments as people now que by the door ,been told to que outside the door before 8 am in order to get a appointment ?? Reported the matter to the NHS board .
While majority of the staff are nice there are a few individuals that sink the entire ship.... On numerous occasions me and my brothers have had medications incorrectly issued, often leading to my brother going through either opioid withdrawal and extreme pain which is why he needs the medication in the first place, and even forgetting and refusing to prescribe antipsychotic medications. 12hr dr will call you anytime DESPITE telling them you are unable to receive calls at that time... Its almost like they do it for fun... On the note of the drs only the locum seems to care about the job while the attitude and knowledge of the duty practitioners makes one wonder if they are fit to practice
Absolutely fuming!!!! My 3 year old has a rash on her hands, took her to urgent care Monday but they told me to speak to a gp because the soonest they could see me was 2am. So I called blakenall on Tuesday, they told me a doctor would call me that day, doctor called me later in the afternoon and asked me to send pictures over. I called on Wednesday as I hadn’t had a response, and to be told I never sent the pictures over even though I had confirmation proof! They then went on to tell me that they had lost the pictures and I’d have to send them again! Called them today to see what’s going on and if anyones looked at them etc, to be told that no one can look at them, no appointments and I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow!! Absolutely furious with the services I have received since being a patient here!! People are dying because the receptionists and doctors are too lazy to do their jobs! Too busy chatting about what they get up to on weekends! Avoid at all costs! If enough people avoided them they would be forced to close.
worst place i've had the misfortune to call i was at harden but they moved me and closed harden During the pandemic ive now tried to get an appointment for the last month including filling out a e consult where the doctor says he phoned me but ive had not phone call so have to phone the surgery at 8 o'clock to wait 50 minutes to be told no appointments ive asked for the practice manager to phone me but nothing this is run by modality heath which is taking over most of Walsall's surgeries my Advice to anyone is to change doctors as soon as possible like I have and make sure it's not this company that run your surgery if we all leave blakenall surgery then the place will have to close and in my opinion. the Sooner the better
Definitely time to look for another surgery, after nurse failing to book appointment like she said, I get an appointment only to be to told that I can't have depo injection at 10 weeks as previous nurse has done for ages, informing me that what previous nurse had done was illegal, was advised to call for appointment at 8 in morning!!! What a joke I've been trying to get an appointment for weeks and no luck at all......seriously beyond ridiculous
