Great pub! Good beer, lovely staff, architecturally lovely, filled with lovely people with a nice cosy little beer garden out at the back. All in all, a great atmosphere for a lovely night out. Will definitely be going here again.
Cracking pub with a good range of beers, nicely laid out, offers exceptional whisky tasting evenings which I have been to and thoroughly enjoyed.
A great venue for drinks and conversation. Focus is on a good tap selection. Seating was ample. Parking was reasonable. Lighting and noise was good for cross table chat.Food: 4/5
What a pub. Nothing flash but their range of whisky is enormous. Apparently over 300 at some extremely good prices. The staff are really friendly and I would highly recommend a visit if you are in area and like whisky. Has that typical English local pub feel.

Fantastic pub with superb real ales, a fine selection of single malts and a lovely friendly atmosphere. A proper pub! It helps that they always have Neepsend Blonde on tap!
Always a great choice of beers with knowledgeable staff. Plenty of space in the beer garden which is a major plus for the moment. Bonus points if you come via Blake Street by foot or bike.
