Basic Witherspoon's - good value pub grub, with their own post "eat out to help out" discount scheme; Friendly staff. Empire State Burger was generous and tasty. Chocolate and salted caramel tart was a bit disappointing - consistency was softer than I expected and the crust thin - was vegan, which surprised me.
Its an old public baths converted into a large public PUB?
Social distancing is all that's changed is this pub. Yes, the menu is a little different but not much. You still can go in when you want from early morning, and go find your own table. Stay as long as you want. Usually, I've been shopping so, it's a rest stop for me before taking my shopping home.
Lovely building and setting. Decent value food and drink.
Tasty grub, decent beer, even though it's a spoons. Wish it was bit brighter in there in the evening though. Could barely see my food!
General staff are fantastic, food has definitely improved but unfortunately the management seem abit rude, tend to speak to customers like there speaking to staff.
Food as normal with weatherspoons nice and cheap. However they need to do something about he mens toilets, we had the only table left which was just outside them and they stick. Disgusting! Who wants to eat when all the can smell is dirty toilets. New flooring and a good clean should sort the problem.
Large indoor/outside spaces, using the app is much better than the frequently poor bar service.
